How Bad Does It Look? (Logan) Empty

Hunter ran up the stairs of the clock tower as quickly as he could manage, eventually finding his way into the castle and heading for the Hospital Wing. He was holding the bottom part of his shirt up to his nose to catch the blood, but it wasn't working very well. A bludger to the nose caused a lot of blood, and Hunter was leaving a trail behind him as he went. Hopefully someone here knew a spell to get all the blood off of his clothes.

Then again, it might not be bleeding so badly if Aoife hadn't made it worse by trying to use Reparo on his nose. Apparently, Reparo was only meant to be used on inanimate objects. Aoife had remembered that only after she'd used it on his face. So at the moment, Hunter didn't have a clue what his face actually looked like. It hurt, but not to the point that he couldn't get to the hospital wing on his own. But it could look like anything. Finally, Hunter pushed the door to the infirmary open and stepped inside. But it was empty. Maybe Logan was in that back office part. Quickly, Hunter crossed the room and rapped his knuckles on the door.

Logan almost lost a glass of ailment to the floor as someone broke him out of his reverie, knocking harshly on his door. It sounded urgent. He quickly walked around his table, setting the potion down on the surface and crossed the floor to his door, opening it, curious about what he might find on the other side, and a slight bit worried.

Logan took a double take as his eyes fell on Hunter VanDerberg. The boy's face was hidden behind blood that kept coming, and he had left a very evident trail behind him. Logan instantly saw the crushed nose, but something was weird about it. When people crushed their noses, it could look very weird. But this was too weird. Someone must've tried to fix it, perhaps...

"Merlin's beard," Logan said, blinking, and grabbing Hunter's shoulders, steering him to a bed to get him to sit down. "What happened?" he asked, snatching out his wand, and pointed it at Hunter's nose, casting a non-verbal spell to see if the nose was damaged in more than one, normal way.

He murmured out another spell, which would make Hunter's blood keep up with the loss. "Tergeo," he said and the blood vanished for a moment, before it was replaced with new blood. "Did someone try to fix your nose?" Logan asked, this being a rather important question as it would depend on how Logan was supposed to heal the wound.

How Bad Does It Look? (Logan) Empty

Logan opened his door pretty quick, and Hunter looked up at him to see shock on the man's face. Before he knew it, he was being led toward a bed and asked all kinds of questions. Instantly, Hunter knew the answer to his thoughts. It must look pretty bad. "It isn't unbearable," he told Logan quickly, though all the blood probably didn't support his statement very well. And maybe he was starting to get a bit lightheaded. Maybe he'd better just sit down for a moment.

When Logan said some kind of spell to get rid of the blood, Hunter made a point to learn it himself. Since he was pretty much a walking accident and everything. It didn't matter now, because new blood just resurfaced anyway. "I was practicing for Quidditch with Aoife," Hunter explained. "And she might have hit me in the face with a bludger. By accident - well not completely by accident, she was aiming for me, but I told her to..."  He was starting to get off subject, so he decided to stop trying to explain. A bludger to the face was enough explanation. Hunter winced as a wave of pain shot up the bridge of his nose - or what was supposed to be the bridge of his nose, but kept quiet.

Hunter was surprised at Logan's next question, and he looked up at the man with a bit of concern etched into his face. "Er... Yeah, that's part of the problem I think. Aoife tried to fix it with Reparo." And she'd only remembered after the fact that reparo was dangerous to use on humans. "But you can fix it, right?" Hunter said, a sinking feeling in his stomach. Did Aoife using Reparo mean it was now unfixable? That would be bad.

Logan was glad to hear that Hunter said it was bearable. But it looked pretty bad. The blood kept fossing out, so he cast another spell that would make Hunter's blood return quicker to his body so he wouldn't go dizzy and possibly faint. Hearing that he'd been spending time with Aoife wasn't a surprise. But hearing that she had good aim with a bat was pretty cool. The girl was rather petite, so normally people would underestimate her. It could also be that Hunter was a pretty bad quidditch player, but Logan doubted this.

"If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen," Logan joked. "Quidditch isn't the safest sport in the world, but it's definitely the most fun one. I saw a game in India where there was something similar to Quidditch, except they were seated on flying carpets and it was an oval ball where bludgers didn't exist, but you could knock anyone off their carpet at any given time. A bloody mess of a game. Literally." It had been one heck of an experience seeing it, though.

Logan raised both his eyebrows. "She tried to fix it with reparo?" he asked incredulously. Well, it wasn't the worst spell to be tried, thankfully, but still, reparo wasn't supposed to be used on human beings. The magic of that spell was only intricate enough to fix broken things that only had one structure to them. Human beings had much more than one structure.

"You'll be fine, Hunter, of course it can be fixed. The spell merely says why on earth you're bleeding so much. That spell did much more damage than good," Logan explained. He pointed his wand at Hunter's nose. "Anapneo," he said. This was usually a spell used to clear someone's throat if they were choking, but Logan had discovered that it was useful when it came to noses as well. "Episkey," he said solidly and a cracking noise put Hunter's nose back in place. The bleeding stopped and Logan lifted the spell that made Hunter's blood return quicker than normal.

Logan fished out a mirror and placed it in front of him. "Looking good again, huh?" he laughed and then removed the blood in Hunter's face with the tergeo spell again. "So, a girl really got you," Logan then said, his loopsided grin revealing his playfulness in that statement.
