Lauren laid on the bed. Her leg was in pain, too much to take in. She tried to look for her book, then she remembered that Ryan had it. Of course Ryan had it.

Ryan walked into the Hopsital Wing with his head hung low, "Lauren I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for you to get hurt. I feel awful."

"It's not your fault, don't feel bad." This was all her fault anyway. Stupid Lauren. Stupid mysterious object.

"It is my fault. I'm the one who took your book." He set said book in the bed side table and sat in the armchair. "I'm so sorry."

"It's my fault, Ryan." She picked up the book and continued reading.

"I.... ok." Ryan reached out and pushed the hair out of her face. "Can I get you anything?"

"Do you like Vanessa more than you like me?" It would make sense if he did, because Vanessa was way prettier and Ryan seemed to cling more to her.

"What? Are you crazy?" Ryan found this amusing. "Why would I like that pampered princess when i have you?"

"Because, she's way prettier than me, she's better than me, she's more popular than me. Dating her can make you look better. She's perfect. I'm a dork." She relaxed on the bed.

"She's a spoiled brat who thinks she can get whatever she wants just because shes pretty. But I like you. You know that." He leaned over and kissed her softly on the forehead.

"Um... would you maybe," He didnt know how to ask her this, "Um would you be my girlfriend?" He blushed an insane shade of Gryffindor and looked away from her.

Ryan smiled so wide his face hurt. He did as she asked and closed his eyes.

She planted a small kiss on his lips, and blushed a bright shade of red.

Ryan opened his eyes and smiled before pulling her in for another kiss. "So its a yes?"

"Pretty much. We should go hex the living daylight out of Vanessa! That would be fun." She smiled and tried to do an evil laugh.

"Lauren..." He said in a dissaproving tone. "Well.... if it would make you happy. No, I will talk to her. Don't worry, Love." He sat on the edge of the bed and wrapped his arms around her.

"Yay! No violence.", she said in the cutest tone she could. She continued reading the new book she had just picked up, which was named The Hobbit.

"It's interesting." She kept reading her book, while Ryan kept playing and doing whatever he was doing with her hair. It was pretty obvious that she didn't really mind, but she was slightly annoyed by it.
