"I see. How was your night?", she asked as she picked up her guitar that she had in the guitar case that was on her back like a backpack. She tied her hair in a ponytail, and took the black acoustic guitar out of its case.

"It was ok. Had a few dreams..." He couldn't tell her that she was the star of said dreams, that would be wierd. He smiled when she pulled out a guitar, "Do you play?"

"Yeah, a little. I sing too, even though I sound like a dying weasel." She smiled at him, hoping not to blow the moment by singing like a goat.

"Can i see it?" He had been working on a new song and wanted to try it out.

"Sure." She handed the expensive guitar to Ryan. She leaned back and listened to the sound Ryan was about to play.

Ryan started strumming the guitar and singing the new sing he had been working on.

"Aww, Ryan." She smiled a little as she hugged him.

Ryan smiled and hugged her back before putting the guitar down. "you left these yesterday" He said as he handed her her stuff back. "Thought I should return it."

She took her diary and book back. "You didn't read my diary, right?" Well, she wouldn't have cared if he read it, it's just that all her feelings about him were in there.

"No... why would i do that?" He wondered what was written in there she didnt want him to see. "Stuff about me in there?" He teased and winked at her.

"Maybe.", she said. "You'll never find out though." She winked at him and wondered how he felt about her. He probably thought Lauren was a complete weirdo.

"Oh come on. Tell me." He begged playfully. He stuck out his bottom lip, "Pweeeeaaaassseee?"

"Fine, I'll read what I have about you in here."

Dear Diary,

Today I met a cute boy named Ryan. He's a Gryffindor first year, and I might have a huge crush on him. He probably thinks I'm a total weirdo. He's the one that gave me my first kiss. I seriously didn't know what to say, and I might have made him feel bad. I hope I didn't ruin my chances. But, look at him! He's the perfect package. He's cute, friendly, charming, and funny.

Lauren blushed a little, and waited for his reaction.

"One, you're not weird. Two, I didnt feel bad. Just confused. and three, I like you too." He smiled and pulled her into a huge hug.

She hugged him back, in joy that he accepted her feelings. "So, what were those dreams about?"

Ryan blushed like crazy and mumbled, "nothing... You dont need to know."

Lauren attempted a puppy eye look and said, "Pleaseeeee?"

"FIne. Only because you're cute. They were about you." he looked away and blushed like crazy.

"What were they about?", she asked. She was very curious.

"Um.... nothing really. I can barely remember." He was lying through his teeth. But he couldn't tell her. It was too embarassing.

"I know you remember. So, tell me.", she said. She did the puppy eyes and stuck out the bottom lip.

"Fine... I dreamt about me and you..." He sighed and sat on the couch. "This is really awkward.."

"Just tell me. This will remain between you and I. Promise?" She did it the old muggle way, pointing your pinky to the person and waiting for them to wrap their pinky around it.

RYan wrapped his pinky around her and sighed, "It was nothing. Really. Just a bunch of jumbled scenes that made no sense. Like there was one of us just walking bu the lake. Another where we were studying for some test or whatever. Just basic normal day stuff." He shrugged his shoulder and leaned back against the couch.

"Nice. So what do you want to do today?", she said as she twirled some of her light brown hair around her finger.
