| Name: Violet Baudelaire House: Ravenclaw Year: First
1. What is the spell's incantation (Incendio) etymology?:
In Latin, Incendio is the dative or ablative singular of incendium, "fire", and can mean "to fire" or "for fire", "by fire" or "with fire".
"Incendio" is the Spanish and Portuguese word for "fire". Also, in Italian the word "Incendio" refers to a great fire.
"Incendio" (pronounced in-cen-DI-u) is also the first person singular of the present of the Spanish verb "incendiar", meaning "to set fire to"
2. Name other spells which have similar effects to the Fire-Making Spell. Bluebell Flames (better known as Cold Fire)
3. Name a few known practitioners of the spell. 1.Authur Weasley 2.Thorfinn Rowle 3.Hermione Granger 4.Harry Potter 5.Colin Creevey 6.Neville Longbottom 7.Ron Weasley 8.George Weasley 9.Ponoma Sprout.
BONUS. In which situations can the spell come in handy? The spell is very handy because you can ignite anything.

You have not earned any points, as I have checked. You have copied off Nadia Murray's homework, word by word. |

| You have earned five points for Ravenclaw.
If you had not cheated the first time, you would have earned five more points. I hope you do not repeat this again. |
