Ella was walked around Hogwarts with some of her Slytherin friends when a Gryffindor came running up to her. "Hey, I know you don't know me but congrats!" He shrieked. "For what?" Ella asked very confused. "You don't know?" He sounded shocked and she shook her head. "You're the new interviewer/ journalist for the Hogwarts Hippogriff o' News!" he exclaimed. Ella's eyes lit up and grew. She was so excited, she never thought she'd get the job.

Ella woke up and bounced out of bed. She was so excited, she threw on her uniform and practically ran out of the room and into the common room. Calling over her shoulder she told all the Slythie's bye. She was so ready to begin her new job. She walked up the stairs to the room and knocked on the door.

"Come in!" a voice called out over the sound of... well nothing. Ella walked in nervously, "Hi, I'm Ella Fontayne, the new journalist?" "Ah yes," she said," Welcome, bet you're excited. Here's a notepad and a quill to write your stories in. Here's your official pen to put on your robe so people know you work here and will allow you into practices, classes and such. Now I want you to go down and observe all the classes and report back to me. Next week for the Ravenclaw vs. Hufflepuff Quidditch game, you are to be there and report everything that happens. Got it?" Ella smiled, raised her hand above her eye and saluted. "Got it boss." With that Ella turned around and left to do what her boss has told her to do.

Ella walked downstairs and proceeded to the Potions class to start her exciting new job. She couldn't help but smile as she thought about what lay ahead of her. Little did she know, this was going to be a year of many up and downs for her and her job.
