| Khalidah had found herself beyond restless in James' huge mansion, as he was busy with other stuff. Probably burning rats or something. Whatever it was, she didn't want to spend more time there at the moment and walked out of the mansion, meeting the glow of the moon. She wondered where to go, thinking she'd been to the landmarks too often, and she was getting somewhat sick of those places as well. She had often wondered what would happen if she went to the Ministry, but after the attack in Hogsmeade, she might be recognized. So she had kept a lot profile. And a brilliant place to keep a low profile was the place where everyone tried to keep a low profile; Knockturn Alley.
She smirked and turned on the spot, finding herself in the dirty street of the lower version of Diagon Alley. She didn't mind. Something about this place had personality. Nothing about it pretended to be something it was not. Everyone were themselves down here, for good and bad, and Khal had found this was the place where she could look as deranged as she wanted without getting a second glance. Of course, Khal on a normal day looked much like any normal person, she simply enjoyed smirking wickedly, which - in a normal street - would be seen as odd.
Khal's eyes landed on the sign she'd been looking for. "Dancing Dragon". The nightclub. It wasn't a club for only Knockturn Alley-people, a lot of people went there to be rid of their responsibilities for a night. She walked inside it and quickly got adjusted to the dim light inside. Round tables were spread around everywhere, apart from a square space on the right side of the bar. The dancefloor. Khal shook her head, looking at all the bodies clashing together. She didn't understand what was so much fun about dancing. Her goal was the bar. She went over and sat down, ordering a pint. She turned in her chair, the beer in her hand and looked over the bar, her elbows supported by the desk behind her. This could become a good night. | |
