| Chloe groggily made her way up to the Astronomy tower to set up the telescopes for tonight's lesson. Looking at the starry sky, and the big full moon, Chloe smiled. This was going to be a good night for star finding. She had brought an empty parchment packet. She wanted to create another star chart to add to her collection. She also conjured up some blankets and placed them on the floor so the students could relax after looking at what they found. She placed telescopes at every part of the tower so they could roam around and find their constellations at different angles. Her one dream was to make one of her students just as into Astronomy as she was. Maybe even more (she didn't think that was possible). Looking at her muggle watch, she saw that it was 9:20. Ten more minutes. She was a little anxious for the first night class... She hoped that the students even showed up.
She laughed a little bit at that Ralston boy's face when she gave him points for being on time, then when she bragged about it, it was even better. She didn't think she had to worry about him not showing up or being late... She was also excited for this weekend. A date with David! She hoped this one went better than the last one... She now had all of her telescopes set up, and she had a special one set up for her. It was one that her Aunt Maggie had given her for a graduation present. It was her most prized possession. She smiled stroking it almost creepily like as she waited for the students to arrive. She turned around to see that one already had, and she was prepared to give house points for their house.

| Blake ran up the stairs, taking two at a time, to the Astronomy tower. His excitement spurring him on. He really was looking forward to the lesson at night. It would be so much more better than the old boring ones during the day. Who wanted to go to class during the daylight? Plus they had gotten permission for a later curfew which meant roaming the empty corridors late at night. Yep, Blake was looking forward to his first night time Astronomy lesson for sometime now. That possibly explained why he was early, again. He had to stop making a habit of that, he would soon be known as a goody goody. Something that Blake felt strongly about and didn't want associated with him name.
"Hi Chloe." Blake greeted in a chirpy tone, getting used to greeting the professor by her first name. "Up too late?" Blake asked, joking and referring to her fatigued features. He was surprised with himself actually starting a conversation with the woman and he put it down to his good mood. He also noticed that it looked like she had crawled out of bed to be here and wondered if she was past her bed time.
Blake walked over to the telescopes and picked the one he thought had prime viewing capabilities and began setting up his things. Blake eyed the grounds from the window, taking a sharp intake of breath as he noticed how high up they were. He took in the quiet grounds which were in full view thanks to the bright moon. He soon got bored though and hoped that class would soon begin.

| Chloe nodded as the Ralston boy had showed up. He commented on if she had been up to late. She smiled and said, "Just a little bit! But it will be worth it in the end! There is going to be a meteor shower tonight! Another thing you guys will get to see! Oh, and ten points for being early yet again!" She cringed a little bit as she awarded him points. Gryffindor was in the lead with Slytherin not far behind. Her own house was only in third with only 48. Getting in her charting mode, she stood at her own telescope setting it at the right coordinates for her own constellation that she was finding. She was truly excited for this class. Maybe she should just cancel her day classes and go for night classes only... As she pondered that thought, more students started to arrive! Class had officially begun! | |
