Jen stood by the board, impatiently tapping her foot on the ground. This was her first lesson, with a load of overenthusiastic first-years who she didn't care for too much and she was prepared for the worst.

| Saryana ran to the field, being happy that this lesson was starting - Quidditch. She already knew all the rules, she was interested in the worldly news for that sport, she even had her favourite team! The Vratca Vultures. Her mother's side of the family were Bulgarian, which was the reason she had such an interest toward them. And the reason she was always hoping Bulgaria would win at the World Cup. Expecially after the awesome victory they had in 2014.
She put her cloak down when she arrived. She was glad that it was outside, because she didn't want to listen to the crazy knight again. Than she looked at the professor. Wel, she didn't seem happy to see her. Where all teachers at Hogwarts such it to like the students here? She made a mental not test herself that if she ever became a teacher here she would actually be nice to the students. And be more happy. None wants a teacher who seems like they would turn you into dust if you get them mad. Can people even do that? She would need to ask her Transfiguration professor. Or her parents. Same difference.
She finally read the board. Pick up a broom? That won't be hard! She took on of the brooms. One good thing about being first is that you can have a good pick of the brooms. How nice! She began to examine it. Than an idea struck her. She remembered that in the story about Harry Potter the Flying professor from than made them pick the brooms up by putting their hand above it and say up! So she placed it on the ground. Her hand hovered over the broom. Clearing her throat, she said. "Up!". She was more than surprised when it actually flew into her hand after that. She smiled, clearly glad of herself

| Arwen was not excited about quidditch. The very concept of flying scared her half to death. She was terrified of heights. She couldn't possibly fly. She barely managed to stand on tribunes to watch quidditch. That was scary enough on its own! She had wanted to talk to one of the professors about this, but she didn't dare walk up to them. They were so unreachable. So authoritive. She couldn't possibly talk to them! And the Ravenclaw Head of House position was open, so Arwen didn't have that link either. She wondered how she'd survive her first year at all.
She walked down to the classroom they had, dread escalating for every step she took. She didn't want to do this! She wanted to be left alone! She didn't want to fly! Every time she thought about it, it felt as if she was going to faint. And then she was standing by the classroom door. And she entered. The professor looked leathally impatient, and Arwen did not like that. She didn't need the professor to be impatient as well! What if she wouldn't understand?!
Another first year was already there, but Arwen refrained from making eyecontact. The girl picked up her broom by saying up. That was it. Arwen couldn't do that. So she simply selected a shabby looking broom. She didn't care what model it was; it wouldn't help her fright. So she grabbed it and held on to it so tight that her knuckles withened. She didn't look at anyone, afraid that doing so would make this even more intolerable and she'd actually, literally, faint. Her head was thumping, and she could barely take it. She waited anxiously for the lesson to start, thinking the quicker they started, the quicker it'd be over.

| Bry had flying in the bag! She'd seen enough Quidditch matches with her family to know all the rules off by heart, and she'd had a training broom toy since she was a toddler. Now it was time for the real thing, and she was certain it would be easy for her with all the variables in her favour! And her cousin was the professor. So she had to be good at flying or else she'd be even more of an embarrassment to her family. And she acted like she didn't care about what her mother thought, but it was always nice to see an actual little bit of pride or affection from the woman. And if Jen could help her with that, so be it.
When she arrived, she smiled at Jen but didn't say anything, and grabbed herself a school broom. They weren't very nice, but they would be fine for this year before she could get a real, cool broom! Then she went to stand somewhere between the two girls that had already arrived. One of them had already started. It seemed to work for her. Which made Bryana feel slightly more confident that she would be able to do this. If that girl could, so could she. |

| Danny walked into his first flying lesson kind of nervous. He had a huge shadow to live in from his brother, being the famous Quidditch player Austin Sinclair. He just hoped he could live up to the possibility of getting out of his brothes shadow. He stood in the back of the class and picked up a broom until he saw Saryana. Suddenly, he wasnt so nervous. Still a bit, but not as much | |
