Family: Ariel has one sister, Darcy who is in her fourth year of Hogwarts. Her parents, Mary and Jack, are the best parents Ariel could have ever wished for. Her mother descends from the Delacour line, but there is no known relations between Fleur and Gabriella Delacour and them. Jack met Mary in Scotland and though none of them are from Scotland, they settled down in Glasgow and got married, had Darcy and then Ariel. They travel to France to meet their cousins and such often. Jack was born in Liverpool, England, and Mary was born in France. Her mother and father were both veelas, though her mother was only half so, Mary was born with full veela-blood. Her mother was English, her father French.

History: Describe your character's life from birth until the present. Where are they from? What activities did they partake in? What did they learn? How did they interact with their family? Have they changed over the course of their life? This section should be of a decent length (a good paragraph or two at least), as it should adequately describe why your character has become who they are. Ariel was born the 11th of november 2017 looking as gorgeous as only a veela baby can. She was raised in happiness and love, and therefore is very happy and loving. She knew she was a witch when she almost fell off a roof at age five, but somehow a gust of wind pushed her back to her feet. On a windless day. Not a few days later, she got angry and one of her eyebrows turned red. Proving she was not only a witch, she was a metamorphmagus. This was probably a gene from her father's side. She took piano lessons and learned it well, loving to play on it whenever she's got the time. She was a sort of a prankster in the family, often making ketchup bottles burst over food she didn't like at dinner and destroying ink bottles over books she didn't want to read.

When Darcy was admitted at Hogwarts, Ariel went on a rampage, not because she was jealous, but because Darcy was going to leave her. And Ariel continued to prank her way through the days wishing Darcy was with her. Until Ariel got to take riding lessons and got some muggle friends that way. They started arranging movie nights under strong surveillance of their parents. And Ariel's favorite movie is "Frozen" by Walt Disney, even though it was a rather old movie from 2013.


Appearance: Ariel is around 5'4 and is of a slim build. She loves baggy clothes, and wears whatever is comfortable when she can. She is, like every part veela, very pretty. And she sometimes plays on it. Because, in difference to Darcy, Ariel is very aware of the looks she receives, as the cutest thing people have ever seen, and uses this to get what she wants out of strangers.

Personality: Ariel is a very attentative person, but she can be harsh and isn't as friendly as her sister. She loves to ride horses and watch movies with her friends. She has a lot of muggle friends, and was raised to think everyone to be equal, and is therefore quite forgiving to those she likes. However, those she doesn't like won't be equally as easily forgiven. She is like her sister in the manner that she will do everything to protect her friends, even throw herself into a physical battle. She has had a broken nose more than a few times.

In difference to Darcy, Ariel can be really loud and is much more outgoing. She takes up a lot of space in the room, something that is both a strength and a weakness. She sometimes overlook others unintentionally because she's much louder than others. She loves to discuss and often comes with silly arguments just for arguments' sake. She can't stand people who walks off to whine or cry just because something doesn't go their way. She gives people the stink eye lots more than just a nice and kind smile, even though she looks as if she is one of the nicest people on earth. She has sort of inherited more of the fury of Veelas blood than normal.

She fears for her sister. She loves her sister more than anything, and often winds up protecting Darcy even if that's not at all what Darcy wants. She fears that Darcy is too gullible, and doesn't want her sister to be hurt. However, at the same time, she feels as if Darcy gets all the attention, and is sort of bitter about that. She desires as much attention, or even more than her sister.


Ariel walked onto the express, looking at her beaming older sister. This was it. Finally, Ariel would get to start at Hogwarts. She grinned, and thought about what it was going to be like. Maybe she'd get to meet Ryland. The thought made her cheek redden and her left eye grew a bit brighter. She was extremely fond of the necklace she had gotten from him. She looked at Darcy who seemed not to have noticed her red face and eye. She quickly shook her head and the eye went back to normal color. They found an empty compartment and sat down. Ariel looked out the window as the train set off. She sighed. "I hope I'm in Gryffindor..."
