[Y2] Lesson I-Hippogriffs and Phoenixes

Sydney notcied the giant creature bowing for rebecca,.she suddnely wanted a go. "Professor,.might I go after ryland?" She asked softly. She cleared her throat and stood straight, to seem.somewhat confident.

With swift steps, Ryland headed toward the Hippogriff. His eyes were fixed on the creature, and a pint of his usual aggressive attitude, the one he'd only showed at the orphanage, was starting to come out. Shaking his head to keep the thoughts out, he stopped for a second to catch his breath and then continued on. 

Once he reached the bird, he slowly bowed for it, waiting for a reaction. A few seconds ticked by and Ryland looked up, only to find the bird's head looking down at him. Unsure of what kind of signal it was, he waited a few more seconds and the bird finally bowed for him.

Ryland's smile grew bigger. Could he touch it? In a swift motion, he stood up, but kept his distance. With a slower pace, he moved his hand towards the animal and approached him. "Hey." he said softly; his fingertips now feeling the bird's feathers. 

Sydney's sudden question brought him back to the forest and he took his hand away. With a smile, he nodded at the Hippogriff and walked back to the crowd of students.
