Potions, Term 13, Year 1-3

[Lucia has not yet arrived, the classroom looks as it always has, though on the blackboard the words 'Pepperup Potion'. Please post your character's entrance]

If Sinead wanted to be future Prefect or Head Girl, she would have to apply herself better in her academic life. Except she wasn't a morning person. She still made time to take Potions class, mainly because she had learned to like it. Walking to class was the least fun part of the day mostly because she was always walling alone. She wouldn't say it, but she was kind of jealous of everyone else. Every kid she knew had a best friend. She didn't even have a pet. In fact, realistically speaking, her only friend was Humphrey and that was kind of sad. She just didn't seem to make friends as easily as everyone else. She tried befriending that Matthew kid, as well as his friend, the evil redhead, but they weren't worth it. She also tried befriending Violet for Humphrey's sake but she wanst worth it either. Maybe Sinead was born to live and die alone. In the friendship department, at least. Arriving to class, she realized that - once again - she was alone. She was the only person in the room, not even Professor Henley was around. How could a human being be so lonely all the time?!?!?!?! Sinead drooped her books on the desk forcefully, clearly angered at how terrible it was to be the first person. Actually, she was angry about many things.

Sinead found that she had been getting more and more upset about meaningless things; she was even upset about being so upset all the time. She was snappy, moody and worst of all - angsty. Her mother had told her it was hormonal, a phase every human goes through, called adolescence but to her it was more like a curse. She couldn't even look at another girl without noticing the girl's hair was prettier than hers, or how the other girl was more athletic, or had prettier eyes, or wasn't as ordinary-looking as Sinead was. Another thing that bothered her was that over the summer, when she hung out with Humphrey, she actually looked at him and found him cute. How lonely was she really that she was even thinking about that stuff?!?!?!?

As she thought about all the things she hated at the moment, Sinead completely ignored the rest of the classroom. She had arrived, she had her books out and her cauldron ready, but that was it. She was going to run through the potion because all she really wanted to do was go back to her dorm and stay there for the rest of the day.

Michelle walked around in the school. She couldn't find the class cause it was her first year. She looked around and tried to ask for help. Someone showed her way to potions classroom. When Michelle walked in the classroom then there was only one girl. She did sit behind the table. Next to her was empty seat. She hope someone sit with her. She looked to the blackboard and saw word "Pepperup Potion". She tought what they gonna do. She looked at the girl who did sit in classroom too. She took her books out of the bag. She just sit there and waited for the lesson.

Finding Potions classroom wasn't so easy task either since Carmen really haven't explored the castle that much yet. So she had once again ask direction since she had transferred. So she wasn't really familiar with school grounds and floors yet. She knew she needs to go and explore the school when she has free time. She doesn't wanna be late for her lessons every day. Right now she have managed to go few minutes before lessons start towards them. So she has time.

She at the managed to find the classroom and when she walked in there she saw there two girls. She didn't really knew neither of them. She smiled at both of them and did take a seat in middle of classroom. She didn't really like to sit in front of classroom. She saw once again there was no teacher in classroom but there was a potions name on board what they will make today. She wasn't really sure what kind of potion this was.

Lucia entered the classroom a couple of minutes prior to the actual start of the session. "Good afternoon, class," she said softly as she walked over to her desk and put down her stuff. Previously, she had been known to be in the classroom before the students entered, but Lucia had found that if she didn't stress before class, she actually got to do a lot more than she had previously anticipated. She looked at her three students and saw that it was one from each year. That was a nice diversity. And she also noticed the second year who was actually a transfer student from Durmstrang. Elixirs were a powerful subject of the northern school, but Lucia was confident that Potions at Hogwarts would be equally as challenging as any other course.

When the time arrived for class to begin, Lucia straightened up and walked around the desk, leaning against it. "So there are a couple of new faces around, welcome to Hogwarts, and, more specifically, to Potions," she said with a kind smile. She noticed that some seemed insecure about the potion, and one person seemed pretty frustrated. But what was going on outside of the classroom was no excuse to not pay attention in class, unless the student actually explained the situation. "We're going to be brewing the pepperup potion today. It's a pretty useful one. Does anyone know what it does and what the key ingredients are?"
