Percy and Marie met at Hogwarts. Percy was a Slytherin, and Marie was a Hufflepuff. Despite their differences, they immediately clicked, and fell in love into their sixth year. Maggie, Marie’s twin sister, didn’t like the idea that Marie was dating a Slytherin. In fact, she didn’t like Percy at all. After one year of Percy and Marie dating, Maggie finally came to terms with it, because it wasn’t going to change. She wasn’t going to get Marie to change her mind about Percy.
While Percy and Marie were dating, Maggie found Johnathan, who worked at the Daily Prophet with Percy. They dated, and were married right after Marie and Percy were married, they got married as well. Two months after Marie announced she was pregnant; Maggie was pregnant with her first daughter, Hannah. Hannah and Chloe are very close.

Jobs/Unexpected Pregnancy: 2005
Percy worked as a journalist for the Daily Prophet, and Marie worked as a Healer at St. Mungo’s. While Percy and Marie were at school for their careers, Marie became pregnant in the year 2000 with twins, Constance and Chloe. When she was five months pregnant with the twins, she was having complications, and had to go into an emergency C-section. They had lost Constance, but Chloe lived through. Chloe was a tiny baby and had to be kept in the ICU for three months until she was able to function on her own.
Signs of Magic: Chloe and Hannah, Age three: 2006-2009
Chloe and Hannah were very close during childhood. So close, it was almost like Hannah was Chloe’s twin sister. When they had their play dates, it was almost impossible to separate them from each other when it was time for Hannah to go home. One particular day, Maggie came to get Hannah, who was in a play pin with Chloe. Maggie left the door open to the apartment thinking she was just going to get Hannah and leave. When she attempted to pick up Hannah, the door slammed shut. Thinking it was just a draft, she ignored it. Marie wanted Maggie to go in the kitchen and try out a new recipe she had found, so she did. When she took Hannah with her, a couple minutes later, they heard a big crash in the living room. Marie and Maggie both ran to see if Chloe had gotten hurt.
As it turned out, it was a glass bowl that sat on the top shelf of the bookshelf. They looked at the bowl that had fallen and back at Chloe trying to connect her to the now broken bowl. At the time when they were looking at the bowl, a lamp light had exploded making both of them jump.
Hogwarts Years 1-4:
--First: 2017
Hannah and Chloe were both born in the month of September. Chloe on the first and Hannah on the 15th, so, that summer, they both received their letters. The two girls were nervous of being separated. Chloe desperatley wanted to be in Ravenclaw. She felt that the Ravenclaw house was the house that suited her most, but Hannah wanted to be in Gryffindor like her dad. When it came time for the sorting ceremony, both girls got what they desired. Chloe got into Ravencalw, and Hannah put into Gryffindor, but that would mean that they would be separated for the first time in their lives. In their first year, Hannah and Chloe tried to do as much as they could together. They had several classes together, so that made things a little bit easier, and they studied together as well. It was then that Chloe made new friends within her own house when things got complicated.
Chloe desperately wanted to fit in, so she quit hanging out with her cousin, and more with her friends, Lizzie and Bay. Lizzie, Bay and Chloe became the “popular” clique in their house out of the first years. This distanced Hannah and Chloe’s relationship greatly. Chloe became almost embarrassed to be around Hannah because she was considered a “dork.” But when they came home, it was almost like nothing had changed, and Hannah didn’t like that, so she basically dumped Chloe.
Second: 2018
Chloe was still friends with Lizzie and Bay. She soon came to realize that Bay and Lizzie were trouble. They peer pressured Chloe to go into the forest with them. They got caught, and received detention. Chloe tried to distance herself from them, but everything she tried, didn’t work. She tried hanging out with Hannah again, but Hannah didn’t want to be her friend anymore, so she distanced herself from everybody, and focused more on school.
Third: 2019
Chloe came into school, wanting a fresh start with Hannah. They had spent a little time together, and almost all was forgiven/forgotten. They went on their first Hogsmead trip together, and everything was good again between the two. It was almost as if the past year never happened. Chloe really focused on her studies, earning high remarks in almost all of her classes.
Fourth: 2020-2021
Fourth year rolled around, and Chloe was already stressing over her OWLs that were to be taken in her fifth year. Hannah tried telling her to relax, and not to worry, but that didn’t always help. Hannah was more worried with who was with whom, and Chloe was more worried with her studies. She decided that she was going to forget about boys, and romance while she was at school anyways, and stay more focused on school. She decided that she needed a hobby. Her head of house suggested Astronomy. She found it quiet easy at first, but grew to really love it. It was a class that she connected to and she loved the teacher.
The teacher was giving Chloe extra credit opportunities, and had her write superb essays on various comets, stars, and constellations. Her grade was so high that even if she failed the exams, she would still pass. So that was when Astronomy not only became her favorite class, but a passion. By the end of her fourth year, Chloe could point out in the sky were most of the constellations were. She could give a brief history on how they came about. Chloe made it her personal goal that by the end of her sixth year, she would have a completed star chart of the night sky.
Fifth: 2021-2022
This was it. The year she had studied for, the year she had anticipated the most… her OWLs. Almost everybody was making fun of her because of how stressed she was, even her parents. During the summer, she had reread almost every book she had gotten for her classes, she was a true Ravenclaw. She was glad she had Astronomy to keep her mind off of things. So far, on her chart, she had charted the Big Dipper, The Little Dipper, Cancer, Lynx, and Draco. She was no were near done, but she knew she would be finished with it by the end of her seventh year at the least. She was also glad that she had Hannah to distract her a little bit during the day, but she could tell that she was starting to get on Hannah’s nerves because of her constant worrying about the exams. It was finally that time of year, and they sat at the exam table. Astronomy was a breeze; she was mostly worried about Charms and Transfiguration. Those were her weak spots.
Exams were finally over, and Chloe could relax. Summer rolled around and they got their remarks back. Both Chloe and Hannah had passed with flying colors.
Sixth year: 2022-2023
Chloe decided to take the year off. Well, not really “take the year off”… more like take a break from obsessive studying, and focused most of her time and energy with Astronomy. This would be the year were she would get an entire star chart completed. She even let Hannah come along with her to help. She taught Hannah all she knows, and Hannah kind of grew to like Astronomy, but not as much as Chloe did. It was this year that Chloe knew what she wanted to do. She wanted to teach Astronomy like her favorite teacher.
Seventh Year: 2023-2024
This was it. The year they would graduate. Chloe had no regrets. Sure, she barely had a social life, never had a boyfriend, and was never kissed, but she did everything she had set out to do in her Hogwarts life that she was ready to move on. She was saving the romance part of her life for when she finally had a job and settled down and was ready for it. She and Hannah graduated together. Hannah decided that she wanted to be a Healer and she wanted to be an Astronomy Professor. She loved what she had decided to do with her life. Not only was she doing something with her passion, but she was going to be able to teach her passion to others. She didn’t obsess much with studying as she remembered most of what she had learned from her study habits in her fifth year, and this time it was Hannah’s turn to panic.
She was there for her cousin, and Hannah was grateful for that, so she thought. In towards the beginning of their seventh year, Hannah had gotten a boyfriend. Chloe disapproved as she thought that Hannah was getting distracted, but Hannah didn’t listen. Chloe thought that they were moving rather fast, as by the second month, they had already done it. Hannah was emotional, almost too emotional. And no more than a week later, she had found out that he had cheated on her and he broke up with her.
There was also a rather large display of the break up in the Great Hall.
As it turns out, Hannah couldn’t deal with the pain of the break up. He had literally taken everything from her. Her inocence, and her virginity. She grew so depressed the last part of school that she couldn’t handle it. Hannah hung herself on March 3, 2024. Chloe found her in the dormitory that they shared. She must have skipped their first lesson to do it so she could be alone. Chloe was never the same after that. She graduated and went on with life, as she had no choice. She wanted to make Hannah proud.
After Hogwarts:
2025-2028
2025-
The summer after Hogwarts, Chloe decided to travel. She packed her things and used the money she got from graduation for traveling. The first stop she made was Argentina. She loved Argentina. By day, she would travel and see the sites, and at night, she set up a tent and got out her telescope and looked at the stars. And that’s how it was for the next couple of months. She visited Argentina, China, and Japan. By the time it was time to go back to school, she was back in Great Britain. She didn’t want Hannah’s death to stop her from doing what she wanted. So, she went to school with a minor in Education and a major in Astronomy. Her Astronomy Professor didn’t connect to her as much as her favorite at Hogwarts, but she still enjoyed the class.
2026-
In the summer of 2026, she decided to do more traveling. She decided to go abroad and spent the entire month of June in America. She went to New York, a place she had heard about and wanted to see, but was disappointed because she couldn’t see the stars. She went to the state of Kansas and loved it. She considered moving there so she could be under the stars 24/7, but decided against it. So, after her cross country journey through America, she went back home, and went to continue her teaching degree. She found out that if she took summer classes this next year that she would be able to be done by the fall of 2028. So she decided to stay home the next summer.
She did well this semester, and loved her Astronomy class as usual. She thought about Hannah a lot, and wrote home to her mum, and her Aunt Maggie (Hannah’s mum). So the school year ended, and now she was kind of tired of being alone. She wanted to get started in the romance department, as she wasn’t experienced. When she was arriving home, she met Klaus Gregory, who she found out was in her Astronomy class (one thing they had in common). She found out that he had been a year ahead of her at school, and was in Ravenclaw as well (two things). So, with their love of Astronomy, they connected. He asked her out, and she said yes.
They spent the first few months getting to know one another, and the he did one thing that nobody had ever done for her before. He had a star named after her. She broke down in tears, and from then on, she was hooked on Klaus Gregory.
2027-
As suggested, she stayed home this summer and took summer classes, and by fall of 2027, she was graduated. She spent the fall of 2027 traveling with Klaus. She took him to her favorite places like Kansas and Argentina. It was then when they arrived home that she received a letter. Her old Hogwarts Astronomy teacher had heard about what she had been up to, and that 2027 would be her last year as teacher, under one condition: that she would take her place. Chloe greatly accepted the position and was ready for her dream job.
She knew Hannah would be proud of her and couldn’t do it without her watching over her, and all of the support from her family and Klaus.
2028-
Now is Chloe’s first year as Professor Chloe Gracen. She learned that the Head of House position for Ravenclaw was open, and kind of couldn’t resist, so she took it. She can’t wait to teach her fellow students all about Astronomy, and hopes to get a student as into Astronomy as she was.
After taking a year off for traveling again because of the heart felt break up between her and David, Chloe wanted to find herself again. She felt that David had been too controlling, and wanted to regain her confidence and re-find herself. During her travels, she had spent a lot of time with a women whom she now considered as her sister named Lorelai, who was also a witch. Lorelai was a widow, and had a 3 year old girl named Alana, and a set of 7 year old twins named Augustus "Gus" and Seamus. Six months into her travels, Lorelai tragically died in a car crash. Since she had no family, as Lorelai was an orphan, she left her children in Chloe's care.
She didn't want to stay in America, but at the same time, knew she couldn't just take the kids with her. So after talking it over with the twin boys, they agreed that they would be fine with moving back to London with Chloe. Chloe decided that she couldn't be a Hogwarts professor anymore with three kids, so she decided to go back to school and be a healer. She achieved that goal for a better life for her children.
Appearance: Chloe would be considered beautiful. She’s tall standing at 5’8, and as blond hair and chocolate brown eyes. Her eyes are almond shaped, and her nose lifts up and has a point to it. Klaus (her boyfriend) always says that he loves her smile because of her dimples. She styles her hair with a muggle curling iron, and doesn’t always style it the same way. It is normally kept down with light waves and layered. Since she is Half-Blood, she wears either muggle clothes, or wizarding robes. But since she travels a lot, she’s been more accustomed to muggle clothing.
Personality:Likes:
Astronomy: Chloe’s favorite class in Hogwarts was Astronomy. She grew it to a passion, and after Hogwarts went around the world to look at stars.
School: She loves school. She loves to learn.
Teaching: She’s always loved to teach. Her old Astronomy Professor made her a tutor, and sent kids in need of help to her.
Traveling: She loves to travel. She loves seeing new places and things she’s only heard about. She’s been to China, Argentina, Japan, New York and Kansas in America.
Charting Stars: She loves charting stars. It has become more of an obsession than a hobby.
Singing/writing: Chloe loves to sing and write. She has written many stories/songs about her adventures.
Dislikes:
Death: Since Hannah died, she has been more afraid of death than normal. She was more “free living” before Hannah died, and now she is more cautious. She pays more attention to the things that can hurt her.
Sweets: She’s not a fan of candy/sweets. When she was young, she got a nasty cavity from eating too much of them.
Dogs: She can’t stand dogs. When she was about twelve over the summer an elderly neighbor asked her to watch her dog while she went on vacation with her family. The dog had bit her numerous times, and she found out then that she was also allergic to dogs; she broke out in a rash and had to be rushed to St. Mungo’s.
New York City: She was very excited to visit the exciting city of New York. She was very disappointed when she looked up and didn’t see any stars. She hadn’t been to a big city like New York before, and was in shock when she couldn’t see them.
Personality:
Chloe is very outgoing. She will tell you how she feels, and if she doesn’t like something you do, she will tell you. She is very optimistic. She thinks that in the end everything will turn out ok, and that everything happens for a reason. She has a strong imagination, and loves to write. She has a journal filled with stories and poems that she has written. She’s very sarcastic, almost to the point where it’s not even funny when she does it, because she does it so much.
Pet Peeves:
Some pet peeves that Chloe possesses are that she can’t stand when people chew with their mouths open. Her least favorite part of the day is meal times. She can’t stand to look out unto the crowd of students and see half of them with food hanging out of their mouths, so she normally tries to eat in her office if she can avoid the Great Hall. Another pet peeve is when people slurp their drinks. She thinks it is possible for people to do it without slurping. Another one is when people don’t cover their mouths when people sneeze or cough. That is the number one spread of diseases and illnesses… gross.
Strengths:
Some strength’s would be that she secretly has eyes in the back of her head. When a student is doing something that they are not supposed to be doing, she can sense it happening, and catches them immediately. She wonders if this comes naturally to all teachers, or if this is just her? This skill can come in handy when teaching. Another strength is that she’s taught herself to use the stars as a compass so if she ever gets lost, she will be able to find her way back to civilization. She is also bilingual since she has been to many places. She can speak a little bit of Japanese and Chinese, and is fluent in Spanish. She also adapts to change fairly easily as proven when her cousin/best friend Hannah killed herself.
Weaknesses:
She is afraid of going out of her comfort zone (any place she can’t see the stars). In New York, she just felt lost and claustrophobic and didn’t know what to do. She doesn’t like to follow a specific routine. She’ll switch it up a lot, and that’s part of the reason why she travels so much. She loves waking up to different scenery every morning, and doesn’t stay in the same place to often during the summer. She can get off topic easily, which might be bad during a lesson. If somebody asks her a question, she’ll start to tell a story, and by the time she’s done, the day will be done, and the lesson untaught (she hopes to not do this very much).

Chloe was nervous for her first day. She didn’t know what to expect, and what kind of students she would get to work with. All she had was a list of names and that they were fifth years. Right around the year when she grew to love Astronomy more than a normal human being should. She thought she would change it up. She removed all of the items off of her desk and onto the floor. She wrote her name on the chalk board as: Chloe, and sat on top of her desk. She got out her roster and sat it on her lap and waited for the first student to walk into the classroom.
