From birth, Larissa and Edward knew they were going to marry each other. They both belonged to pureblood families obsessed with keeping their ties pure, so after Larissa's family searched the entire European continent for a suitable husband for their only daughter, they found the Sextons in London. Larissa is of French descent, from a wealthy family full of dark haired, fair skinned members with hazel eyes. The real reason for their arranged marriage was that the D'aramitz were suffering in the economy and only after they married their daughter to Edward Sexton, their economical problems ceased.
Larissa and Edward claim to have fallen in love after their marriage, and use that as an excuse to use the same method for their children. To them, arranged marriages are nothing but salvation.
History:Peter was born on February 5th, the son of Larissa and Edward Sexton. He is the second and last child of the couple. Throughout his childhood, Peter played around with his sister and the family dog, Rumple. He was in love with that dog! Rumple was more Peter's companion than a family pet. He had a good relationship with his parents and sister, having been homeschooled until he was accepted at Hogwarts under Slytherin. Their relationship began to break when he wanted to keep playing, keep living life without a care in the world, when he was around ten years old. His parents began to ground him, taught him to become a man by trying to polish him to his father's likeness.
Peter was expected to be harsh, to be bold and sophisticated. He was supposed to fit in with his family and their affairs, but Peter never did. This rebellion lead to him being punished constantly, even physically. Nothing too bad, but enough for the ties between him and his family to break, as well as what he considered his dignity. As he grew up, he cherished his moments at school.
Over the summers, when he was back with his family and their prejudices, he began to date as many Muggle girls as he could - even cheating on some cases. He wanted - still does - to rebel and change the family purity. He wants to be hated for a reason, not because he is not what his parents wanted him to be. At 16, Peter got his first tattoo (a compass on his inner right arm), much to his parents' dislike. It was, as everything he does, a sign of rebellion.
He graduated from Hogwarts with As in Ancient Runes and Astronomy, Es in Potions and Herbology, and Os in DADA, Charms and Transfiguration. At first, he thought about continuing his education as an apprentice Healer at St. Mungos, but he then changed his mind after the first week. During those five days, Peter saw enough blood and guts to last a lifetime, so he changed his plans. He considered Auror training, as he was already fit and healthy it seemed like an easier thing. He was wrong. It takes a certain kind of soul to be an Auror and Peter was not it. After that, he tried working for his father as his assistant, just to get enough money to pay bills and buy necessary stuff like food and clothes. He worked there until his Aunt Claire suggested he stay with her in France, to aid her in her Defensive Magic class. He accepted, any excuse to leave his father was a good one.
So at age 22, Peter became his aunt's apprentice and later assistant. Through her, it was that he acquired a teaching position at age 27 as Charms Professor for Beauxbatons. He is fluent in French and Spanish. He is now back in London, thinking about applying for the DADA position at Hogwarts.
Appearance: Peter has dark brown hair, very simple. His eyes are a dark brown as well, and he is slim and stands at 6 feet. He likes his facial hair, which he keeps well groomed and trimmed. He kinda wears whatever he can find most of the time. Though he has more than enough to buy good clothes, Peter doesn't really care what he wears. He could be wearing his sister's jacket and he wouldn't bat an eye. Most often, he'll be found wearing simple jeans and whatever clean shirt is around. For work, and other professional/special occasions, Peter actually cleans up and wears a nice suit. He also has a tendency to steal his friends' clothes, accidentally. He has a small, swirly shaped dark mark on the back of his neck and some scars on his arms, some on his knees, mostly from falling down some trees or his skateboard.
Personality:Peter is a free-spirited guy. Coming from a pureblood family with an obsession to keep the blood line intact, he has dated a few Muggle girls out of spite. He likes the ideas behind his family's actions, but he hates those actions themselves. Peter isn't a troublemaker, not at all. He speaks his mind and has no trouble telling people they are what they are. He himself accepts that he's a coward - afraid of water and terrified of death. He's arrogant without meaning to, always using his family's money as much as he can only to anger his parents.
He liked to play pranks on his sister, despite the fact that they don't get along at all and she almost always threatens to blend him in with the wall. Peter, of course, paid no attention to people like her - if they aren't willing to have a good time and let go of their fears for a while, he won't give them the time of day. He likes people who know that life is more than work and papers and certificates that show you can pass a test. He likes people who aren't afraid of speaking up when they don't agree with something, people who are educated enough to have a good argument with. He likes people who can open their minds to change and see things in a different perspective.
Though he tries to live to carpe diem, Peter is often blinded by the hatred he has for his parents, even at such an old age. He used to do very selfish things, such as stealing their money to buy useless crap such as food and jewelry for past ex girlfriends. He defies them at every single opportunity he has, always trying to anger them to the point where the exchange of screams and hate is enough for his mother panic. He acts without thinking, too hot-heated most of the time. And though he can be careless, he is also soft-spoken and caring to people he really cares for - which is really just a select few. Peter is also very selective when it comes to his friends; he will talk to anyone all the time, but he won't consider them his friends until they prove themselves to be loyal and amazing people. He will always have a smile on his face because he believes that every day is a blessing and should be enough to make everyone happy.
He is a morning person, always waking up to go for a run and rarely staying up late. He tells himself and everyone that he knows what he wants, but he only knows what he doesn't want and that is to end up like his father.
Running was about the only thing that could clear Peter's clustered mind. In a good way. Running was his healthy way to let out his anger and other normal teenage emotions he wasn't a big fan of. He hadn't gotten a chance to do his morning run that day as he had to make up an assignment for a class before the first lesson started, so he was doing it now. It was almost dusk, or somewhere around that time - he wasn't very sure - but the sky was beyond amazing. There were more colors in the sky that he had ever thought possible, and with the evening January breeze, Peter was more than happy to have picked a time like this to run.
Usually, he ran fast enough to let out all of those negative emotions, but he didn't actually have of them today. Rather, he wasn't having them recently. Of course, most of them came along whenever he had to spend time with his parents, but Christmas had gone relatively okay in comparison to the past family holidays. For one, his father didn't get home until around midnight, drunk past his senses and with something resembling a black eye that Peter was very curious about. It was the very first time Edward Sexton had acted that way. And Peter had been there to witness it. He had been too wasted and out of it to argue with whatever Peter was talking about. The only downside to it was seeing his mother and sister freaking out about it, but Peter knew their concern would only last a few hours. He was right, because by morning they were both happily singing holiday music, all the event of the night before had been forgotten.
As he ran, he chuckled at the memory of the past Christmas. It had certainly been quite a story. The sky was darkening, but still beautiful, so Peter decided it would be a good time to head back to the Castle. He didn't feel like making Slytherin lose points for being out late. As he ran towards the Castle, he noticed Effie sitting nearby. Without really thinking about it, he ran over to her. "Hey, Effie." he greeted her, not bothered by his dirty shirt. Really, Peter never cared what he was wearing, not even with Effie. That's how bad his sense of fashion was. If it was clean, it was worth wearing. Dropping to the spot next to her, Peter laid on the ground - defeated. "Don't ever take up running, or it will consume you. Literally." he said, a bit breathless, and for a moment he just stayed there, not saying anything but rather looking up at the colorful sky.
Propping himself up on his elbows, Peter glanced at Effie. It had been a while since they had a good, real, inspiring conversations. Actually, none of the talks he ever had with her were inspiring, but they were often fun. "How was your Christmas?" he asked, figuring that it might as well be a good time to talk to her again, since he wasn't so sure they were still good friends.
