| Being back at Hogwarts was a weird feeling to Lucia this time around, more than usual. A lot had happened over the summer break, and she'd had a lot of fun with her adopted son, and some confusion on other aspects of her life. However, she despite feeling weird being back, it was a very good weird. Life wasn't normal without Hogwarts. She had missed the place. Walking through the main gates was always the best feeling in her opinion. And now she was back in class. Having decided to devide the years, she was curious to see how large the group would be. There would be groupwork in this one though. She had decided on 'Elixir to Enduce Euphoria' as it was a fairly accomplishable potion to make for third and fourth years and they would be helping the first and second years to make it. It was going to be interesting. She waved her wand and watched as the chalk wrote up the potion's name on the blackboard. Walking around the room, she looked at the tables. They worked fine. She'd rearrange them as they sat down. It was going to be an interesting class. - blackboard:

| Saryana walked into the classroom. This will be awesome! After a summer of fighting, happy reunions, a time at the beach and even a tournament, she was ready to go back to learning magic spells, Potions and all other awesome things! During the summer she began to use he word awesome a lot and now it was hard to find a conversation without that word. She thought that maybe she turned slightly hyperactive during he summer also. At least it was duh in words - if she began to talk, it would beach hard for her to stop. And sometimes she'd just get off topic into big explanations before returning again.
She happily roamed through the halls, not meeting the annoying knight from last year. He must have forgotten about her, which was great. Or was drunk, which wasn't great because he might come back to annoying her. She hoped it was the first, the girl did not want to talk with him. This year she was done being nice to all, now she will tell all on her mind.
When she entered, she was happy to be the first in class. Awesome, points for her house and the best seats in the class! So the girl sat at the front middle and quickly took out her things. She also looked up to see the potion for today - Elixir to Enduce Euphoria. She knew it! Of course she did! Smiling proudly, the girl finished taking her things out and waited for whoever the hell walked in, than for class to start.

| Zypher was looking forward to new classes, new friends, and new everything to be honest. His first class would be potions and he excited. After gathering his required material for the class he made his way to the classroom. Walking in he found himself to be quite early. There was only one other student and he was deciding if he should sit next to her or find his own sit.
Deciding on the latter he took a seat and looked up at the blackboard. "Elixir to Enduce Euphoria," he mumbled to himself before pulling out his book and some parchment. He had no clue what a lot of stuff in the magic world required since he was the only one in his family that was a wizard.
He didn't forget the girl though. After pulling out his stuff and looking around for a few seconds he turned to the girl who was sitting diagonally from him. "Hi there! What year are you?"

| Lucia looked up as the first student arrived. She gave the Gryffindor a smile and then looked back down at some of her paper on the desk in front of her. It was still a while till class started, so she figured she could go over some of the paperwork she had for later on. She gave a smile to another student as he walked in, and that was basically routine. She hoped they would have more than enough stuff to do themselves, though they were first and second years. Lucia didn't really expect them to start skimming through other things on their own. She didn't really expect that of anyone before they hit third grade.
As the time before class was up, Lucia raised her head and smiled at the students present. "All right, I think it's time to start," she said and rose from her chair. She walked around her desk and leaned against it, crossing her arms over her chest. It wasn't an unfriendly gesture, though, as her smile was still on her face. "Welcome to potions," she said happily, and gestured to the blackboard. "Let's just get straight down to it, I'm awful at introductions. But I am professor Henley, to those who does not know. Now, today, we're going to brew this potion. Elixir to enduce euphoria. Can anyone of you tell me what this potion does?"
Lucia honestly didn't know the students in this class very well, so she was curious to see what sort of a level they were on, if they even read the books, or if they could look stuff up quickly. As her question was replied to, Lucia asked yet another question, and hopefully the same person wouldn't respond, and might give another student a chance, both for the student's sake and Lucia's. "Now, can anyone tell me which ingredients are used in this potion?" she asked.

| Shit. That was still a pretty awesome word, even though Matthew had been saying it for a whole year now. Pretty successfully, too, because he'd only gotten caught by his mum twice! And he'd tried to explain to her that he understood what it meant and was mature enough to use it, but she was just so unreasonable. But right now, Matthew had a really good reason to say it! Because he was late to Potions! And Potions was pretty interesting and involved fire, so it wasn't a good class to be late to at all! When he woke up and realized he'd missed his alarm, he had just rolled out of bed and taken off for class, pajamas still on and everything. And, of course, he'd forgotten to grab his bag. Which he realized halfway to the classroom. Even though he didn't have a long walk to go back and get it, he decided not to. Better to be late without a book than extra late with one. Right?
Matthew slammed the door open loudly when he got there and kicked it closed behind him, before rushing into the classroom to find an empty seat. The professor was just asking a question. Did anyone know the ingredients that were in the potion? Maybe. But Matthew didn't. But he raised his hand anyway, not waiting to be called on before rushing into what he had to say. "I'm sorry I'm late, professor!" he gasped, trying to catch his breath from his rush to class. "I woke up late and I hurried here, but I still didn't make it on time, and I forgot my book and you wouldn't happen to have an extra one would you? If not, I can just pretend like I know what I'm doing or something, so don't feel bad, it's okay," he finished, taking another deep breath.

| Jessica had like evert other summer. She was mostly sitting in her room and reading, girl barely went out. Or she dud draw outside at the balcony of her home to get some fresh air. Girl wasn't yet that social one and she lived on the muggle world where all her ages kids ignored or bullied here bec she had just one parent. She hated so she barely went out because of it. She wished to have friends there but she didn't. So her summer was lonely most of times. Her best friends are books and sketchbooks.
Girl walked into the classroom. "Hello, professor," she said therw now. "I'm really sorry for being late for this classroom todat," she said there now when ahe realized that lesson had started already. "It won't happen again," she addes and took seat then in first row where was empty table. She didn't walk to very far, just not to disturb the lessin here. She read the potioms name from the board. She knew something about since she had read about it from the books.

| Saryana heard someone talk to her and turned around. A Hufflepuff boy, it seemed. Smiling, she answered. "Hi! I'm a second year. What about you? " she said than turned around when she heard the teacher speak. Class had began! When she asked her first question, Saryana ' s hand was quickly into the air, ready to answer. Than she remembered that at this school students don't wait for the teacher to call them, they just talk. So that she did. "It causes the drinker to feel euphoria, in other words happiness! It also can cure depression. Side affects though are singing and nose tweaking, I think it was." She explained.
Just than someone walked in the door, late. Oh, it was the boy from last year who fell from a tree... Over her. Which wasn't a very nice feeling really, to be tackled such. But she'd forgiven him long ago, so it was OK. She almost chuckled at his explanation. Instead she just rolled her eyes. Her mind went back to the question. Ingredients... She knew them but decided to see if someone else knew them. If not, she would just answer again herself.
Another person walked in late. Why was everyone coming late, expecially to Potions! It wasn't like they had the legendary Snape guy from the time of Harry Potter, this teacher was awesome! Than she looked at the girl late. Another person she had meet last year! Is everyone that she randomly meet in her first year now going to walk into the class, late? Hopefully not, the girl had meet a few people and having so much late comers would ruin the lesson they are having for today.

| Derek had been distracted by a portrait of a talking snowman which somehow he had never come across before. Naturally, he got involved in a long and important conversation about snow, and whether they should expect a white Christmas this year. Being a snowman, the portrait had a lot to say, and only after several minutes of the conversation did the Ravenclaw realise that he was supposed to be in Potions. So with a hasty goodbye to the portrait, he sprinted as fast as he could down to the dungeons, only to find that the class had already started. Hm. Damn his eagerness for interaction with snowmen, and inability to keep track of time.
He wasn't the only one late, though, and as he walked in he heard Matthew's long speech about how he didn't have his book, and couldn't suppress a smile. "Sorry, Professor," he said after another girl finished apologising, and went to sit next to the Gryffindor girl in the year below, who seemed quite nice and smart.

| Vanessa Di Angelo walked into class and sat down. She read the black board was on a potion to enduce Euphoria. Euphoria is a feeling of intesne happiness or excitement. So this lesson would be rather interesting. She was late so she decided to answer the professors question. “Some known ingredients are Porcupine Quills, Peppermint strings, Sopophorous Beans, wormwood and Shrivelfig.” She sat down in the back fo the class and scanned the area for anyone she knew. She found no one. She shrugged and decided to just focus on the lesson until someone more interested came and caught her attention. | |

| Lucia gave Saryana a smile. "Exactly. The potion makes the drinker feel a strong sense of happiness, and those are indeed sideeffects. Not to mention that in the long run, drinking this potion will lead to a false sense of happiness and might eventually lead to depression itself," she added to the Gryffindor's answer. "Five points to Gryffindor for that." In truth, the elixir to enduce euphoria was one of the most addictive potions out there that didn't have an addictive substance to it. People suffered in their everyday life, and this elixir got rid of their suffering for the time being, making them feel happy and floaty. But unless under perscription, this potion was one of the more dangerous ones. Four late students. Lucia wasn't particularly happy about that, and tried to not give them a scolding look. Their apologies didn't much work either. She had always been specific about her instructions. If a student was late, the best they could do was to not mention it and just walk inside. Like what Vanessa had done. "Well, that is five points from each of your houses," she said and looked to Matthew. "And I don't feel bad for not having an extra book, Mr. Bennett, after all, I do expect you all to show up on time with the right gear for my classes." She looked at them. "So, that negates the points you would've gotten for your correct answer, Ms. Angelo." Lucia then straightened up and smiled again. "All right, let's get back to it! I want you all to start your cauldrons and grab the ingredients that Ms. Angelo mentioned. Now, you need to be precise when you brew this potion. The instructions are written down on page 107," she instructed and walked behind her desk, sitting down. "You will have no more than fifteen minutes to brew this potion," she said and looked at a pocketwatch. "Begin." | |

| Vanessa growled softly at the points deduction. She rolled her eyes and decided to just start brewing her potion. She grabbed her cauldron and all the necessary ingredients before returning to her desk. She read the book and saw that she needed to add the shrivelfig and the porqupine quills until the potion changed colors. So she did so until her assignment was a bright shade of orange.
She continued reading the isntructions and stirred her potion four times Counter clockwise as the book saidto and let it simmer for three minutes. She then grabbed a sprig of peppermint and dropped it into her pot to counteract any side effects the potion may cause.
She then added her sophorous beans and stirred it six more times, this time she did so clockwise. When the potion turned blue, she took it off the heat and made a sample for Professor Henley. She walked up to her professor, her high heels clicking along the stone floor beneath her feet and handed her the vial. She had done it in the perfect time and smiled at her professor. “I believe it will be to your liking, professor.” She smiled and waited for the professor to say anything
