Baby Shopping (Closed to Ella)

Rhys walked down the sidewalk of Covenant Garden to the little cafe and sat at an outside table with an umbrella covering. As people walked past him in the rain he walked for one person in particular. Constantly checking his watch, he watched the hours pass. He did tell her to meet him at 2 right? He was quite certain. Maybe she got held up, after all, she was pretty pregnant.

He thought about his beautiful wife and their soon to be beautiful daughter. Those were the only two girls he'd ever love and call beautiful. They were the only girls he needed in his life. He loved sitting home at night on the couch or curled up in bed and holding her to him while he rubbed her belly. He loved feeling little Riddle kick under her mummy's skin. It was amazing. He wanted the best for his girls, which is why today's shopping trip is consisting of maternity clothes for Ella and baby stuff.

Day after day, he imagined the kind of father he would be, he imagined the husband he was. He believed he was good. He loved Ella unconditionally, and he would do the same for the baby. As the rain pitter pattered down on the umbrella, he saw her. Stunning as always with her cute baby bump out in front of her. He got up, smiling, and walked over to her, scooping her into him and giving her a passionate kiss o the lips before walking hand in hand with her to the first shop.

Ella was sure she was taking too long, causing Rhys to worry. That's just the type of person he was. He worried about her, he cared about her, he loved her. As she walked through the thin crowds, her black umbrella above her and her abdomen pressing against her shirt she saw him.

Once he saw her, he stood up and walked over to her, grabbing her and drawing her into a kiss that made her blush before grabbing her hand. "Well I missed you too. Where too first?" She was anxious to shop for the baby, though they'd have to be careful not to run into anyone they knew especially if they wanted to get pink and girly stuff before the gender reveal.
