| Aisha had been working all morning on some paperwork. It was difficult and incredibly frustrating. Even though she'd only been at work for a couple of hours, it felt like she'd been laboring over this much longer than that. Where was all the cool, fun, defeat the bad guys auror stuff? When she was a little kid and wanted to have this job, she hadn't realised paperwork was actually a part of it.
It was her break time in a couple of minutes, though, so perhaps she'd take a walk down to the cafe. No she wouldn't, actually, because there'd be too many people.
Just to make things even more irritating, then she ran out of ink. Sighing, she placed her quill down beside the empty pot and stood up to go and get some more. It was her break but that would probably just involve sitting down and drinking a glass of water. Aisha might as well go in search of some ink.
David, the young vampire, was at the other side of the room. Surprisingly, they'd only talked a few times since he started working here. Although she didn't particularly want to talk to him, he'd have ink, wouldn't he? "Morning, David," she said, plastering a smile on her face and faking a cheerful tone. "I've run out of ink, have you got any?" Now she'd asked, she realised that she was a witch and could have simply used "accio". Too late now.

| David was concentrating on his monthly 'see, I'm a tame Vampire' report. He had to recount any vampiric actions in the past month, to prove they were rare and did not involve killing innocents. It was the only reason he could keep his job. When a female voice spoke to him, he looked up, having heard her come over.
"Of course.. Morning" He checked his desk and gave her a full bottle "That should keep you until you can get more" He smiled slightly at her

| "Thanks," Aisha murmured, about to turn around and get back to her desk when she saw whatever it was David was working on. It didn't look familiar to her. And while she knew it wasn't good to be nosy, it was in her nature. She just needed to know everything. It didn't seem like this was particularly private or important, anyway. "What are you working on?" she asked casually.
Most likely, it wouldn't concern her or the rest of the department, or else she would know about it already. And probably would have been chosen to complete it, since she was so much better than vampire boy.

| He looked up as she asked what he was working on. "None of your business" He said defensively, his eyes flashing black for a moment. he then calmed down and said simply "A report for the Minister."
The fact he had to write these reports was not something he was very proud of, nor did he like to flaunt it about.

| Ooh, defensive, edgy vampire boy. He clearly had something to hide. Other than being a vampire. Haha. Aisha simply raised her eyebrows and was about to walk away when he added something else. "The Minister? You mean you're working with his royal highness Jeremy Rufford?" she asked, smirking a little bit to herself. She knew what an idiot he was.
She leaned back on the desk, gently tapping her foot on the floor as she waited for David's undoubtedly interesting and amazing story.

| David rolled his eyes "yes, I am working with Rufford, in the attempt to rid the world of un-tame vampires.. and annoying Aurors who lean on my desk" he shooed her off of it.
He then rolled his eyes at her "Fine, it is a report with my doings of the last month, to prove I am a 'tame' vampire, and not about to turn on the entire staff." Obivous details were left off, like his time with Chloe, that was personal, not something he was about to describe in detail for the minister.. he would have to pay for his own porn.

| "You roll your eyes too much," Aisha smirked. "It's not a good habit." When he commented on her leaning on his desk, she didn't move. What was he going to do about it? She'd been in this position much longer than he had and she was obviously superior to him. "I'm sure you and Mister Rufford make an excellent team," she added sarcastically.
She didn't like him much. He was arrogant. And apparently a pushover, since he immediately gave in and told her. But maybe that was just him realising how much cooler she was. "You have to do it every month?" Aisha asked. Was that really necessary? A report? This just proved her theory that the Minister was mad even further.

| David sighed and added "You smirk too much" He then let a small smirk touch his lips "Gives the wrong impression, you know, makes people think you think you are better than them."
he wondered if this woman thought she did. Her she was, randomly appeared out of nowhere after David spent a year alone with Andrew, David becoming the second in command, and she stole everything from him. He was not too fond of her because of that.
He ignored her comment about them being a good team. He was not very fond of the Minister either. He had grown not very fond of a lot of people since he was changed. Probably because they treated him like some sort of animal, beneath them.
He then nodded "Every month. I guess because he wants to catch any 'un-tame' actions and fire me as quick as possible." He shrugged. Somethings he wanted to go 'un tame' on Rufford, because the man erked him.

| Subject: Erm... Aisha will have been here since David started. She didn't just appear out of nowhere. *wants Jeremy to jump in here* XD Sun Apr 27, 2014 1:25 pm | |
| Idiot. "Do I?" she asked sceptically. Because in reality, she very rarely smirked. Only when she was with someone incredibly irritating and she was showing her own irritating side in order to get on their nerves in return. "I am better than a lot of people. It just means I'm honest to myself." Obviously.
Aisha doubted Rufford really hated Shuter that much. Although he was an idiot, he seemed to be pretty fair and the theory that he was desperate to fire the auror didn't seem quite realistic enough to believe.
"It's not like you'd admit to any "un-tame incidents" even if they had happened, though," she mused. "So it's pointless." Unless Rufford used some sort of lie detecting charm thing or something.

| Subject: Considering I have already posted multipul times that David was second, yeah, she just popped up.. maybe from sick leave? Mon Apr 28, 2014 2:04 am | |
| David let out a laugh "Well, you aren't better than me. Got that? So lose the attitude." He did not care if this person was higher up in ranks, he would not take any bullshit from her. None at all. He did not think he was better than everyone, but he was not about to be lorded over by someone he could kill before she even lifted her wand.
He then let a small growl erupt from his chest, feeling it tame since he didn't rip off her head for accusing him of being a liar "Believe or not, I did not want this. I was made this while ON THE JOB. I do not want to be a monster. If I did drink from someone, I would tell Rufford at once. So i would gather facts before accusing Ms Khan. That IS our job, is it not?" He did not want to be rude, but she had hit a soft spot.
Aisha was lucky he was a tame vampire, or she would have been dead by now. She was irritating the hell out of him, and if he had been a normal vampire, he would have cracked and hurt her by now. it took everything in him to keep himself together

| Subject: Unlikely. How long has David been working? Because she won't have been sick for three years. Sat May 03, 2014 1:03 pm | |
| "You know, you obviously think I'm like that, but you obviously think highly of yourself," she smiled calmly. Aisha was unfazed by his head-up-his-own-arse actions and quick answers. His opinion and words meant absolutely nothing to her since he was a moron. In fact, she didn't know how he'd managed to get this job. He was undeserving and unworthy of the position.
Aisha giggled. Growling. She could tell he thought he could take her down easily even without being a vampire, but he was obviously wrong. "Sucks to be you, then, since you are a monster. And I don't mean because you're a vampire." Good one, guuuurl. "I didn't accuse you of anything, actually. I don't accuse," she added coldly. "At least, not without being sure. I'm not sure of anything with you." He was weird.
Her thoughts flew back to coffee. She needed one before her lunch break was over. This was a good time to leave. "Look, vampire boy, this is my break. I'm wasting it here, so I'm off."
