Term 6, Lesson 1, Year 2

Lucia walked into the classroom, ready to start off a new year. Her second year as a teacher of Potions. She really loved this job, as much had been proven last year with her students. Now she would be teaching the second years their first potion of the term. She smiled and moved toward the blackboard and picked up the chalk. She wanted to write on her own for once. She didn't do that often. Magic was paralyzing like that. But soon enough, four words were written on the blackboard.

Blackboard:

She sat down on the chair behind her desk and waited in patience for her students to show up. She didn't have to wait long, and they seemed to be mostly on time. She did wait to start the class, however, as the clock was not yet there.

Potions, that most vile of subjects. Selwyn was not a clutz, most of his potions turned out well enough, but Professor Henley did manage to suck all the fun out of every class.

He was not excited to be first to class, although it assured him a good seat right near the potions cupboard where he could get best pick of the ingredients. At least the longer he had to wait for everyone else to show up was longer he spent not being bored to death.

Lucia rose from her desk and gave her class a soft smile. "Good morning," she said calmly and turned to the blackboard. "As you can see, we're brewing the potion Wideye or Awakening Potion. Can you tell me what this potion does and what the ingredients of the potion is?" she asked curiously.
