Prefects and HB/HG

Just a suggestion but how about we chose two members from each House, preferably a boy and girl who aren't related to become Prefects each year? Also, maybe once we get 5th years and older students we can also have a Head Boy and Head Girl?

I think prefects should AT LEAST be year 3+ ... not year 2

I think this is a great idea, but it doesn't really matter about how old students are. I have no problem with third years and up, though.

I mean at least second years and up. JJJA I don't think she meant first years necessarily, because first years we have no clue how active or respectful they'll be.

Has this ever been implemented because I think its a good idea, especially since we have fifth year students now.

What do you guys think of the member of each House nominating Prefects and Heads?

That kind of goes against what a prefect is.

What if Hogwarts has changed since the days of HP, and now they have a Student Representative Council?

An SRC usually has one girl and one boy from each year on it, with head boy and girl nominated separately.

That way, people from all years could be involved if you wanted them to be, and it could provide an RP opportunity by people who want to be on the Student Council having to campaign to be elected by their peers.

Hmm. I'm actually really digging the SRC idea. What do other people think?

I like that too, but in some years we don't have a boy and a girl, like third year where it's just me and Morgana. In that case would you have two girls or just one representative?

Yeah, I think Jennifer has a great point. What would happen to years where there's not enough people? We could combine them with another year, maybe? Like put Morgana and Jennifer with the fourth years?

That's a good idea. But then this will be totally different than Prefects and HB/HG.
