| Once again Morgan had gotten it in his tiny head that Agnes was so in love with him that she would do whatever he wanted. And it was true. This time he had wanted to go out to the park, which sounded like gibberish coming from his mouth but Agnes had learned that mothers were somehow magically able to communicate with their sons. She pulled the zipper of his hoodie up and let the boy run around the grassy area, his light brown locks going all over the place as he did so. Leaning back on the bench, Agnes looked at Morgan and her past night of drunkenness was immediately forgotten. She had clearly made a fool of herself, but it didn't matter because she had Morgan now and he kept her in check. Agnes had never been easily influenced, but Morgan had a way of getting her to back down from something by just looking at her.
There were other people around, mostly families, enjoying the November weather. The sight of fathers running after their sons made Agnes uneasy, because it was something she knew Morgan would never have. Playing with Ansel and Alek was different than playing with a father, but Agnes wasn't ready to give him that. Mostly, she wanted Morgan to herself, to not have to worry about whether or not his father would be around, to simply know that she would be there for him whenever he needed her, but that she was the only parent he should have. Giving him a father figure would mean having to explain to him that a specific man wasn't the reason for his birth, and Agnes had been lying to Hunter long enough that lying to Morgan about it seemed too much. She simply couldn't do it.
Her brown eyes trailing back to Morgan, her skin turned white with fear as she realized what he was doing. Morgan was sat on the ground, his tiny hands digging into the grass and picking up handfuls of dirt and and roots and casually slipping it into his mouth. Not as fast she would have liked, Agnes stood up and ran towards her kid, screaming at him to stop. [ccolor=pink]"Morgan! What the fuuruit loop!"[/color] she changed her words, realizing that her kid must never hear her curse. Picking him up, she opened his fists with one hand as she held him, trying to get him to drop the dirt. He still had dirt and grass in his mouth, so Agnes opened it to get it out, her hand covered in baby spit. "Gross." Being his mother didn't mean she had to be okay with his bodily fluids.
Morgan was somehow offended, because he started kicking her so she would let him down, crying like a hysterically. "No! Don't do that!" she tried to bring him closer to her, his head resting on her shoulder. He stopped kicking, but he was still crying. In a manner that was still habit from when he was a newborn, Agnes began rocking him as she walked back to the bench, sitting him down, his feet dangling as he was nowhere near being tall enough to reach the ground. "Hey, you cant just eat dirt. The dirt monster will then have to eat you" she told him, her face as serious as she could make it. For a moment, Morgan seemed to get the point, and his grow burrowed a little, as if deep in thought, and suddenly he burst out crying. The exact same sound an ambulance makes. Fuck, Agnes thought.

| Madeleine hadn’t seen so much outside of her life, since she’d been hurt by her hopefully soon to be ex-husband. But Jean-Claude had hurt her so badly, that she didn’t understand how to deal with it. But she wasn’t feeling well, and there wasn’t anything that could change that, not what she’d felt now.
Because she felt as if she could be sick, but it wasn’t anything new to her, not recently. The baby inside of her made it so that she often didn’t feel so well, but this was something she wasn’t thrilled with, something that she didn’t know how to get rid of.
But she felt awful, absolutely awful!
The redheaded witch hiccuped and felt sicker every time she’d done it, but it wasn’t as if she could do anything about it. The baby made her feel very sick, and she couldn’t be sure that she’d be able to handle it if every day would be like this...
Suddenly, a young boy nearby literally cried so hard that it made Maddy feel as if she’d be sick all over again, even if she didn't want to be.
Maddy slowly walked towards the little boy and the woman he was with, knowing that it wasn't really her place, but the look on the woman's face told her that she didn't know what else to try. Madeleine kneeled down to his level. “What’s wrong little one?” she asked, her face pale from feeling sick, but she was trying desperately hard to hide it!

| For a second, Agnes thought of bribing Morgan. She could just offer to take him yo hinryduked and it would be alright. It always was. Except she didn't have time. When Agnes was about to make a compromise with her son, some random woman came up to them. Rather, she came up to Morgan. Kneeling down to his level, the woman asked him what was wrong. Agnes' jaw dropped. Who was this human and why was she talking to her kid?! It was Agnes' duty to take care of him, to figure out what was wrong with her own kid. Still, Agnes didn't snap because Morgan stopped crying.
His green-hazel eyes turned to Agnes, and in them she saw exactly what she didn't want to see. She saw his sass. For a toddler, Morgan had an unreasonable amount of sass that Agnes could not stand. She could sass him, because she was his mother, but Morgan was a little too comfortable with showing her she wasn't the only one who could do it. It made Agnes dread those terrible teenage years she knew would come. After making sure Agnes understood the look, Morgan turned to the woman, who Agnes know realized was a redhead, and between sniffles and little-kid drama, he told her that he didn't want to be eaten by the dirt monster.
Agnes actually facepalmed. She could have picked up her child and left the meddling woman there, but even then that seemed too rude. Sighing, Agnes crossed her arms, turning to the redhead. "Look, he's fine. He's just angry because I didn't let him eat dirt." Having to explain herself to a stranger seemed a little degrading, but the whole experience of having a kid at her age was a little degrating. At least in her own eyes, and in most strangers'. Morgan took Agnes' hand, glancing up at the woman, and it was then that Afbes realized how pale the redhead looked. Even though the only redhead Agnes had seen was Aoife O'Donnell, she knew that they weren't supposed to be that pale. Picking up Morgan, Agnes looked at her. "Hey, are you okay?"
