Bloodline History:

The Huckleberry family dates back to the era of sword, shield and knights. The Medieval Times. The family started off as a royal family, ruling the country of Wales under the surname of Hucksalbee until little by little, the country began to revolt. The family was one that had many strange beliefs that the people hated. In other words, they overthrew the kingdom, and since then, there has never been another king nor queen over just Wales.

The family was close knit and a huge believer of arranged marriage and incest but eventually, the family also began to rival. Slowly, the family broke apart into their own families and while most stayed pure, some didn't. The Huckleberry's were among one part of the family that kept their blood pure.

They lived through great famine and war and successfully overcame each obstacle. However, somewhere along the line, their brains got jumbled up and they became lovers of nature, unaware of how freakish they seemed.  

History:

Abalene and Birch met when Abalene's parents threw a Pureblood party when she was 11. The two becoame great friends and their parents couldn't be more proud to see them interacting, especially since they were both Pureblooded. The families soon decided they were to be arranged, however, the two decided they liked each other before an arranged marriage was ever planned. They got together when Abalene was in her fourth year and Birch was eighteen and their relationship only built. At the age of 16, Abalene found herself pregnant and her family wasn't exactly happy about it. Not because she was young, but because she was still in school and if anyone found out, Birch could get in trouble because she was underaged.

Shortly after her sixth year, Abalene and Birch welcomed Ember into their lives and Birch moved in with the Scottsdale family, just for the summer. Once Abalene went back to school, Birch kept Ember and constantly found ways to take Ember to visit his mum, knowing she needed to finished school.

As Ember grew, so did the love between his parents and the love towards him. Ember was taught at a young age about the importance of herbal medicine and natural shampoos, just as he was taught to love nature. In his family, nature was the head of their household and they should respect her by honouring her and not using any sort of chemicals in their soaps or sprays.

Ember grew up with long shaggy hair and almost constantly wore flowers in it. He didn't see it as a girly thing, in fact, to him it was manly because he was respecting nature just like his parents told him to. His feet rarely had shoes on them because shoes weren't natural and if he could get away with it, he'd rarely have clothes on. However, since it was from nature, his family wore cotton and wool and no synthetic blends.

At the age of seven, Ember was called a girl by someone at his school and unknowingly, he caused a stream of water from the nearby fountain to spray the boy in his face, resulting in punishment from the school. Since that incident, Ember has been obsessed with learning to control water and he couldn't wait til he could get to Hogwarts to use magic without getting in trouble. He'd be able to play with the water and other elements but most of all, he could practice making flowers grow and find a whole new respect for nature.

At the age of 11, Ember received his Hogwarts letter, but that was to be expected. His beliefs stayed the same as he had never had the chance to be away from his parents so they couldn't change. It is unknown at this point in time whether or not he'll lose his respect for nature.

Despite being a Pureblood, Ember could care less about his family history and the fact that his blood should be pure.


Appearance:

Ember is about average height for his age. His build being a naturally athletic type body, however he is actually highly weak and doesn't plan to do anything about it, it's not like he'll be sweeping a girl off her feet anytime soon anyways. He has a head of hair that often looks like a messy mop, however he sometimes keeps it decently short as well. The boys dark brown hair compliments his hazel eyes and almost flushes out his paler skin.

Personality:

Ember isn't exactly the definition of a Hufflepuff, but he is a sweet, caring and loving boy. He loves greatly and he cares for people and has no intentions to ever hurt anyone. The thought of harming someone internally kills him. He has a great grasp for being loyal, but moreover he is best at just making friends. Ember will go to great lengths to protect those he calls family and those he refers to as friends, he even occasionally protects those he'd like to call his enemies. However, he doesn't really have any enemies, even though he thinks he does. It's actually pretty hard to hate Ember or even dislike him. Though disagreeing with him isn't too hard considering his oneness with nature.

Ember is a complete momma's boy and an animal fanatic. Animals are a part of Mother Nature, therefore they too, should be protected and respected. Ember enjoys gardening and making flower crowns with his Mumma and trimming hedges with his Poppa. He enjoys being the elder brother of Briar and he constantly promises his Mumma and Poppa that he'll never let anyone hurt her. He enjoys helping hand wash the laundry and the dishes and he even enjoys sweeping but most of all, he enjoys babysitting Briar and taking her to the park.

Usually, if he's not helping out with housework, he's helping Briar learn to do different things like write her name, ride a bike or read and if not, then he's laying in a hammock made of vines with his fingers swirling the lake water. He enjoys to swim but not quite as much as sitting beside the water.

Ember hates arguments and drama and he hates people who damage the earth. His biggest fears are letting something happen to his family, the dark and making his parents mad.


Ember stood out by the lake, his curly brown hair adorned with flowers as his fingers twisted the blades of grass. His mind was focused mostly on the water as his other hand twirled it, causing a twister to form. With a small flick of his wand, the small twister continued to spin but at the sound of a bird chirping, he lost his concentration and the water grew still once more. Sighing, the boy crossed his legs and closed his eyes, humming to himself. He enjoyed practicing yoga, as it helped him to calm down when he was afraid and left alone in the dark or right before he had an exam but most of all, yoga was another form in which he could connect with the earth.

Ember had learned that the key to mastering magic was not to get frustrated but it was to never give up and have patience. Opening his eyes, he pointed his wand to a small bud and with a flick, the bud opened and a white flower appeared, causing Ember to smile to himself. It was nice, days like this where he could just sit and be one with nature. He enjoyed not needing to study or even attend classes on the weekends and days where classes were canceled were even better. Sure, they taught him things but nothing could teach him as much as meditation and patience could.

As a clap sounded in the sky, he looked up just in time to see a natural light show. He smiled. His curls ruffled in the wind a bit and soon, his clothes were soaked. Slowly, he stood up and walked back to the castle so as to not get into any trouble. He enjoyed his time in the sun and even in the rain but not it was time to get cleaned up and head to dinner. Tomorrow was Sunday and a new day and he couldn't wait to see what the earth had to offer.
