Just a little wind...

Subject: Just a little wind... Tue Aug 21, 2012 4:37 pm

It was a windy day and Ella was standing on the suspension bridge overlooking the castle and grounds. The beauty of this place is just surreal she thought. She loved standing on the bridge on a windy day because you could feel the bridge rocking underneath you. Sure it was a little scary when she first discovered it but it has surprisingly become soothing to her.

Shah was new here and she was bored. She was wondering what to do when the idea hit her. She decided to see how the castle looked from the bridge--the one she'd seen while arriving to LTM.

She was wearing her favorite red sweat-shirt and black jeans. She stuffed her hands in her pocket and headed there. When she reached, she saw a girl doing the same thing, watching the castle.

"Mesmerizing, isn't it?" Shah asked the girl. It was always a good feeling for Shah, to talk to others and not always to her mind.

"Huh?" Ella jumped, terrified by hearing a voice beside her. "Oh hi! You must be the new girl. I'm Ella, I'm also pretty new. Yes, it really is."Ella continued, the wind blowing through her long, black hair. Where were all these new kids coming from, she wondered. She seems nice, but never trust someone you just met she told herself.

Shah laughed. "Yes. I'm the new girl." She extended her hand. "I'm Shah Chelsea Hazel....it's too long I know. I would prefer people calling me Shah or Ellie." She grinned at the girl. "You are?"

Ella extended her hand back, "I'm Ella Rae Fontayne but just call me Ella." Ella smiled warmly and shivered a little as it started snowing. She always loved snow but with the wind blowing it was kinda chilly plus the wind was blowing her robe with allowed the cold wind to chill her through her thin pants and sweater."I just love the way the bridge moves in the wind,"Ella told Shah.

"Yeah....but sometimes I get this scary thought....what if the bridge falls down?" Shah shivered, too.

"Haha, well since thick, steel cables are holding it and we're all wizards and witches here, I highly doubt that." Ella giggled noticing Shah shivering. "Ya know, these Hogwarts uniforms aren't really that warm. Even the winter cloaks aren't super thick." Ella tilted her head as she replied.

"Yeah, pity." Shah replied. "But once we get weekends, we can wear whatever we want. But I'm waiting for summer. That's the best time of the year." She sighed and hugged herself.

"The winter's just started so we've still got a long way to go."Ella replied noticing her obvious British accent.

"Most definitely, it's such a wonderful, beautiful and majestic place. I'm so not ready to leave here anytime soon." Ella replied.

"Yeah, me neither. In fact, I'm not gonna go home for the vacations either." Shah replied. "So, tell me 'bout yourself. Do you like chocolates?" Shah asked a random question.

"I think I'll go home for vacations. Yes I adore chocolates. What about you?" Ella asked back.

"I love chocolates! I have to eat them at least twice a day." Shah paused. "Which reminds me," She pulled a few chocolate frogs out of her winter cloak pocket. She passed one to Ella and grinned.

Shah pulled some chocolate frogs out of her cloak and gave Ella one. "Hey thanks. " said Ella excited.

"Anytime." Shah smiled. Her first friend at LTM and they shared their love for chocolates. She wondered what else they shared. "What kind of music do you like Ella?"

Shah replied,"Anytime." and smiled. She then asked, "What kind of music do you like Ella?"

"I pretty much listen to anything. Whatever's on the radio." Ella replied casually.

"Oh..okay." Shah said. She sat down on a piece of rock. "So....do you have siblings?"

"Do you have any sibling?" asked Shah as she sat on a rock.

"I have one little sister named Ellie. She'll be here next year. I miss her alot." Ella said not noticing the tears in her eyes.

"Oh..Ellie. That's my nickname." She was about to smiled when she noticed Ella's tears. "It's okay. A year will pass by in a flash. I'm sure she misses you too."

"Yes. I have two. My sister Celia and my brother Neil are fraternal twins." She grinned.
