An emotional display.

As Lucy entered the Common Room, she sank into the leather sofa. She was mentally tired.
Too much thinking in such a small amount of time, she tought to herself.
With her arms hanging on her side, she started to cry, silently and softly. She didn't know why she was crying, but she felt like crying. She was sure that it had nothing to do with Quidditch, nor with her family. But something had snapped in the last few moments. This was the only time Lucy had been by herself, and it scared her. Even though she had family at Hogwarts, they weren't like Pheonix, and Hogwarts wasn't like New York. She could only wait for Wade to arrive; that would make her feel more like home.
Decided to not let anyone see her in such a state, she went to her dormitory.

Wade entered the common room slowly. It seemed a bit dark, but he couldn't have expected a brightly lit room, after all, this was the Slytheirn common room. He saw the back of her cousin's head. Lucy. She was on the couch, and as he was about to go up to her, she stood up. Her back was facing him, so there was no way she could have seen him. He saw her bring her hands to her face, and it worried him.
is she crying? he thought.
He watched her go to the girl's domitories, and knowing that he would get in trouble if he followed her, he decided to stay in the common room, waiting for her to come down.
"She has to come down at some point, I'll wait for her". he said to himself.

Later, when it was time for dinner, Lucy walked out of her dormitory and into the Common Room. It surprised her as she saw Wade, her cousin, sitting on the leather sofa in the middle of the room. Her eyes lit up at the sight of him; she ran up to him and hugged him, as though it was a long lost brother.
"Wade!", she exclaimed, "you made it! I did not think your mom would let you come!"
Breaking away from his embrace, she looked at him. He looked a bit more older than he was.
Maybe he's just grown, she thought.

Lucy walked out of the girl's dormitories and saw him sitting on the couch.
"Wade! You made it! I did not think your mom would let you come!" she said as she hugged him tightly.
He hugged her back although she broke away faster than she usually did.
"I know, but Mom said it was for my education. She wanted to send me to that all-boys school. What's it called again?" he asked her.

"Durmstrang." Lucy replied,
"I'm very happy to see you here. And you made it into Slytherin! Father will be very proud of you!" she said.
Sometimes she forgot that Wade was just her cousin, and not her brother, but they've been together since they were very little and their relationship was truly a sibling sort of thing.
"Come, we should go to the Clock Tower, we can talk more freely over there." she told him as she grabbed him by the hand and they both walked out of the Common Room.
