Nose in a Book (Open)

Auden was shaking with all this information. There were so many books in front of her and she was taking notes like crazy. She wanted to get good marks this term and the only way to do it was to study like crazy. Her eyes were on fire and her head was pounding. She knew she needed a break but she couldn't stop herself. Studying was also keeping her mind off the bad things and flashbacks that constantly tormented her. Auden put her quill down to shake her hand.

Aoife liked the library. It was cosy and warm and book-y. She'd found a book on sweets a while ago, so that was definitely a plus. Since her classes were over for the day and she was out of sweets, she'd decided to go to the library and find a new book for herself. She did like books but generally she was outside too much to read a lot. Maybe she could read outside, like she occasionally did at home, but then she wouldn't have any adventures.

After quickly choosing some book called Loony Nonby vs Cornish Pixie, which looked VERY interesting, Aoife was ready to sit down and read for a bit. Then she spotted a much older girl on the other side of the room, surrounded by books. That couldn't be very fun. And she wanted to make new friends so why pass up this opportunity?

"HEY!" she beamed at the girl, after she had flown across the room. "What'ya doing, huh? Drowning in books, right? Can I join ya? Looks FUN. Well, not really, I was just being polite!" Aoife sat down on the arm of an armchair nearby, staring intently at the girl. Not in a weird way or anything.

Auden looked up at the young girl who was a bit hyper. She smiled. "Yeah sure. I was just studying and I think I need a well deserved break." Auden replied.
