Chamber of Secrets [Y2]

Ashton opened the room designated for his sophomore class and watched as the light entered the huge air space. Hearing the bell ring, he went to the teacher's lounge, letting students enter the room without his presence.

Morgana walked patiently into the History of Magic classroom, not really surprised when she saw that professor Clark wasn't there. So she walked up to a seat and sat down, waiting calmly for him to start the lesson.

Noticing that it was the time for his lesson, Ashton went towards his usual room for History of Magic class. He noticed the same faces as before but he was glad that none of them skipped his class this time.

"Welcome for the second lesson here in History of Magic. Today, we are going to talk about the famous Chamber of Secrets, which I am aware that most of you know about.

"Riddle successfully opened the Chamber before but this situation back fired to him. Can someone elaborate on what I meant by this? What am I talking about when I say back fired?"

Morgana straightened up when professor Clark walked into the classroom. She blinked when he said they were going to talk about the Chamber of Secrets. She sighed soundlessly. Well, what don't I know about the Chamber of Secrets? she thought miserably to herself, though it was also positive; she might just earn a few points.

She raised her hand at his question and when he pointed to her, she took a breath. "There were two times when Tom Marvolo Riddle opened the Chamber of Secrets. And there are two ways in which it might be you mean. If you mean the first time he opened it, in 1942 to 1943, he found out that if the attacks continued, Hogwarts might be closed, and Tom would have to spend at least a whole year in the orphanage in which he lived, something he hated with a passion.

"If you meant the second time, it would be because he used a student through his horcrux diary, and Harry Potter winded up killing the Basilisk and destroying the horcrux, which destroyed Tom and was proved to be another failure on Voldemort's many plans of coming back to life again," Morgana said, her voice slightly monotone, but no more than usual.
