Being an orphan and getting picked on during his earlier years gave Ryland a strange personality. When he feels threatened, he'll use force to hurt you. When he feels comfortable around you, he'll be the best person in the world. It will take him some time to get to know you and like you, so he'll be shy at first. Nevertheless, Ryland is destined to become someone great, although he's still unsure how to get there.

Having recently been adopted by Phoenix Malfoy, Ryland has come to realize that their life isn't as great as many people think. This helps him relate to them in a more personal level as he spent the first ten years of his life in an orphanage in France, where he is originally from, after his father's death. Because of this, Ryland will often fight and use physical force if he feel threatened, however once you get to know him, he will be a great friend. Nevertheless, Ryland is destined to become someone great, although he's still unsure how to get there.

I'm pretty screwed up. I mean, I lied about mostly everything. I've been attacked by a werewolf, I might turn into one though I doubt it because it's been a year already....though I do eat a lot much more. Oh, and let's not forget about the Imperius Curse. Yup. I am far from perfection.
