Visits (Ella and Elita) Empty
PostSubject: Visits (Ella and Elita)   Visits (Ella and Elita) EmptyMon Jul 20, 2015 8:13 pm

Lucy hadn't had visitors in what seemed like a decade. Since she'd moved out into the flat, she'd always been the one visiting others, especially her father. However, with Phoenix's passing and Luca's previous move to another school, Lucy had taken in the offer for Nathan to crash there while he looked for a better job. Except it had already been four months since Nathan arrived and Lucy had already forced him to pay his share of the rest if he was to stay around. That meant she had to clean up a bit before her guests arrived, even if it was just Ella and Elita, along with their kids. Lucy had gone to the toy store beforehand and figured out what to buy them to keep them entertained, though she had also paid Nathan to take the kids out to the park for a while, if Ella and Elita agreed. It wasn't that Lucy didn't like their kids, she didn't like any kids. Lucy was a kid-shunner. She didn't particularly want to stuff every child she encountered into a box and send it to Antarctica, she just wasn't about the life with screaming kids and tantrums.

Since both Ella and Elita knew that, she hoped they would at least be courteous and not let their offspring break anything around the flat, like the photographs she had of her family. If they broke that, Lucy would never allow kids within a 20-mile radius of her little home. Frowning at the thought, she put the salad bowl down on the table and straightened out the silverware. Out of nowhere, Frodo decided to climb on the chair and his purring only made Lucy a tad bit more frustrated. She had to make sure everything was set before they arrived, and she had completely forgotten to lock Frodo in her room so he wouldn't scratch the kids. "Who's coming over, again?" she heard Nathan ask from behind the sink. They had a system; she cooked, he did the dishes afterwards. Grabbing the white cat, she carried him in her arms as she crossed the hallway to quickly put him in her bedroom. "Ella Riddle, and Elita Malfoy." she answered him as she shut her door. "Ella is an Auror, Elita is a professor. Ella is divorced, Elita is married to my brother." She had explained this to him already, but Nathan must have some sort of memory problem. As she walked back into view, she saw he was finished with the dishes. It wasn't that hard to do for him since he used to do it daily for his work.

"Are you going to the Ministry tomorrow, then?" Lucy asked him, walking over to him and jumping up to sit on the counter. Everything seemed fine, so she could take a few minute to indulge in Nathan's company. "Yeah, but I don't think I'm cut to be an Auror." he said, his eyes trailing down as if he were upset about it. "Well, just give it a try. If you don't like it, you can always get some other type of job." Technically, it had been Lucy who had encouraged him to leave the Hog's Head and get a better paying job, she had suggested him to the Ministry and they were going to interview him for the Auror Department but Nathan was strange, she couldn't quite figure him out and it was troubling since she wanted him to be happy, but there was no way anyone could be happy serving alcohol to other people. There was a silence between them, and even though Lucy had always hated silences, the ones between her and Nathan served as a way of communication that they both understood but couldn't quite explain. Lucy knew that he was trying simply because she was asking, Nathan was never the Ministry type and he would never be.

Smiling at him, she playfully punched his arm as she got down because she could hear voices from outside. Not just any voices, but children giggling and being weird little machines. "I think that's them." she said as she walked towards the window in the living room and peeked outside. Sure enough, the two ladies and their respective offspring walked up the steps of Lucy's humble living space.

Visits (Ella and Elita) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Visits (Ella and Elita)   Visits (Ella and Elita) EmptyFri Sep 18, 2015 8:59 pm

For the first year of Lucas' life, Ryland, Elita and Lucas had lived in France so that he could be raised in his parents birth country. Ryland had opened up his own restaurant and Elita had taught at Beauxbaxton's. However, when Beauxbaxton's had been shut down for unknown reasons, the couple decided to move their family back to London where Elita would work for Hogwarts aside from caring for her son. Things had been different since graduating from Hogwarts. Her life as a mother wasn't always easy, she didn't get to go out and be with friends and she couldn't party. However, each time she looked into the nearly two year old boy's huge, brown eyes, she remembered just how important she was to him and how much it meant to him to have a mother that cared and only wanted the best for him. Despite the hardships she'd faced and would continue to face, the smile on the little boys face was worth it.

Something that had begun to grow harder on Elita was the loneliness she'd developed. It wasn't that she was always alone moreso it was the fact that it was constantly her and Lucas and often Ryland was there too. That was why when she found out Ella had begun to work undercover at Hogwarts, the girl grew excited for their move back. What was even more exciting, however, was the invitation she'd gotten from her former best-friend and sister-in-law, Lucy. She couldn't wait to visit the woman, it had been so long. Despite the fact that the girl's weren't on the best of terms, Elita did still love Lucy as she did her blood sister.

The days that led up to the visit caused Elita great anxiety. She knew she shouldn't be too worried, as it was Lucy, but she couldn't help it. When day broke the day of the visit, Elita felt so physically sick, she thought she would not be able to make it, but she pulled herself out of bed anyways. It was hard for her to keep in contact with Lucy, or Ella for that matter, due to their involvement in the Ministry and she refused to miss a chance to see both at once. She found herself pulling on a pair of jean shorts, a grey tank top and some maroon shoes, choosing to simply leave her hair down. Before long, her little curly haired boy ran into the room and when she caught him, she dressed him in some overalls, a solid colored shirt and some white shoes.

With both the sisters having children, they decided to learn to drive a Muggle vehicle due to the effects of Apparition on infants and toddlers being unknown. Having met up together that morning, they now drove to Lucy's home. At one point, the girl's fought constantly, to the point of Ella seriously harming Elita. At one point, Ella had also left her family to join their grandmother on the dark side, however, after coming back and killing her, Elita and Ella became inseparable. They now worked together at Hogwarts, as well as they often parented their children together, correcting them and sharing tips as well as allowing them to have playdates. As they drove, the girls talked as well as they listened to Lucas and Emma chatter to each other in the back. Lucas was nearly two and Emma was three, which thankfully, resulted in a close relationship between the cousins.

Walking up the steps with Lucas in her arms, Elita once again began feeling nervous. She wasn't sure what Ella had been feeling, but she was sure it was something along what she was feeling. As they waited, Elita allowed her eyes to focus on Ella and Emma. The young girl stood beside her mother, her tony hand engulfed by Ella's. She had on a pink shirt and some jean shorts along with her light up shoes. Her long blonde hair was pulled into pigtails and her brilliant blue eyes focused on the door. Ella, stood there, a bit taller than Elita, her long, dark hair pulled back into a braid that trailed down the black tank top she wore. The woman also had on jean shorts and a pair of blue shoes. They were a perfect duo and as Ella reached out to ring the doorbell, Elita turned her attention back to Lucas and tried to smooth down his unruly curls.

Visits (Ella and Elita) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Visits (Ella and Elita)   Visits (Ella and Elita) EmptyWed Sep 23, 2015 7:01 am

"Perfect timing!" She gave a small giggle as she opened the door, staring at the two sisters - who looked more like twins than anything else - before her eyes settled on the little boy Elita was holding. Lucy had met Lucas before, but she hadn't paid attention to how much he actually looked like Ryland even though there were no biological similarities. For a few seconds, her eyes lingered on the curly haired boy before moving to Ella's. "Hey! Come on, we just finished cooking, if you're hungry." She moved aside, and closed the door behind them. Lucy's apartment was...well, Lucy. There were hand-drawn portraits of musicians, both wizards and not, on the walls - some were the product of Nathan's talent and others she had bought. Double doors brought natural light to the living room, they opened up to the small piece of a 'balcony' she had. On either side of the television there were two tall bookcases, filled with her favorite books - and now, some of them belonged to Nathan. Portraits of her father, her mother, Ryland and - most importantly - Wade hung around in the hallway, and a specific photograph of the three of them hung by the entrance to her bedroom.

To Lucy, her home was her sanctuary - a place where nobody could bother her, where her memories where not memories at all, and where she was free to love Nathan without feeling guilty. She had invited Ella because they had been best friends since she could remember, but she had also invited Elita because the girl had at some point been like a younger sister. With her pregnancy and Ryland's involvement in the girl's life, Lucy had been selfish and broken off all ties to her, but Ryland had explained his reasons and Lucy felt it was time to ask for forgiveness. After all, she had been kind of a bitch to Elita. Nathan stood by the entrance to the kitchen, awkwardly drying his hands with a towel. Suddenly Lucy remembered they two women hadn't met him yet. In fact, only Wade had met him. "Oh, this is Nathan, by the way." She said as she reached out for his hand, more for personal support than to actually show off that she could, in fact, keep a relationship. "He's my boyfriend." Her voice trailed off, unsure of how to do such introductions. She was glad, however, that he extended his free hand to properly introduce himself. "Nathan White. I, uh, yeah." Or semi-properly. His eyes turned to hers, and Lucy didn't know what to do for a few seconds.  Phoenix hadn't met Nathan, and though it was reasonable it was still something Lucy regretted. Wade had already known him before she began to date him, or live with him for that matter, and Ryland was often too busy that she couldn't ever find a chance to introduce them.

A part of her felt strange with all of this, because she had not told anyone she was living with a guy and all of a sudden she was shoving him in their faces. She didn't feel too bad though, because she remembered the other two girls had kids - and that was definitely something Lucy and Nathan had agreed on not having. "So, do you guys want to take a seat?" She automatically pulled Nathan along as she walked over to the sofa, taking a seat and crossing her legs, her hand still grasping his. She was unbelievably nervous about them visiting, and there was no reason to be. Smiling at them, and at their kids, she continued, "It's been too long, I think, since we actually got together. What have you both been up to?" She was mostly referring to not seeing Ella around in the Ministry as much as she used to, because she wasn't so sure she knew what Elita was doing. Ryland was definitely not working at Hogwarts anymore, she knew that much because their one-year contract with the school had ended last term. "How's my brother?" Lucy directed that question to Elita, her eyes betraying her and shifting towards Lucas.

Visits (Ella and Elita) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Visits (Ella and Elita)   Visits (Ella and Elita) EmptyFri Sep 25, 2015 1:20 am

Ella found it hard to ponder the fact that her baby sister was married and had a son now. The girl had grown to be gorgeous and she had been raised extremely well, having been raised by their adopted mother from the age of nine til she left home. It was easy to say that Ella couldn't more proud of Ellie, who had at some point begun going by her full name of Elita. It was a sign of her maturing, but you could physically tell that the girl had matured before she even begun going by her real name. Ella looked to her sister, but as their eyes connected, Ella's eyes dropped to her nephew. For the kid not being Ryland's, he looked like a Ryland mini-me and it made Ella intrigued as to how that occurred, but she didn't dare ask. The young boy was busy clapping his hands together and smiling. Children are far too innocent for this world, the woman thought, her eyes averting to her own daughter. She was a beautiful girl, one the looked almost identical to her late ex-husband. Her semi, long blonde hair bounced as the girl ran in little circles around her mother. The young toddler had stunning blue eyes, ones that matched Ella's and Elita's and her facial structure was the same as the Fontayne girls.

Ella couldn't help but hate the fact that Emma would grow up without her father, not just because he was a jerk and they were divorced but because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time and he got himself killed. At the thought of Rhys, Ella felt herself bending over to lift up her three year old. Oftentimes she thought about Rhys and she found herself comforting herself by hugging the little girl. Sure he was a jerk, but they did have a kid together and at one point she loved him with all of her heart and planned to spend the rest of her life with him. [/i]At least she thought she loved him that much.[/i] The woman brought herself back to reality and reached out allowing her finger to ring the doorbell.

It wasn't long before the door swung open and her best friend stood there, as pretty as ever. When she did, the woman heard Lucas call out, "Aun Ucy!" She gave a little laugh towards the boy who was not trying to fling himself out of her sister's arms and into the arms of Lucy. At the invitation, Ella walked in with Emma leaving Elita to follow in behind with Lucas. "Oh sure," Ella answered at the mention of food. She wasn't starved but she was starting to feel a bit hungry so she knew the babies were probably hungry. She found herself glancing around Lucy's home and smiling. It was homey and comfortable and Ella liked that until her eyes laid on a photo of Wade and her breath caught in her throat at the sight of her longest crush. The woman tried her best to conceal every feeling she ever felt for him, but she felt like she did a poor job of it, especially since she found it incredibly hard to peel her eyes away from the photo and back onto Lucy - but she did just in time to smile towards Nathan White who'd just been introduced as her boyfriend. Ella found herself smiling towards her friend, it was great to see the girl happy. Especially about learning of her fathers death and then being betrayed by Wade, she had to find solace in someone. Ella just hoped the boy would treat her right and not hurt her, or she'd be coming after him.

Ella nodded at Lucy's question and took a seat, Emma sitting beside her playing with the little board book Ella had handed her. Elita had taken a seat near her sister and balanced Lucas on her lap. The boy's eyes seemed to grow heavy as Elita bounced him up and down and she knew it was probably nearing his nap. Unfortunately for her, Emma no longer took naps. "I agree," Ella answered, "work mostly since I sort of work as an Auror but also for Hogwarts and then being a single mother has it's up and downs." Ella smiled, to show that none of it affected her much and to sort of show that she felt blessed at life and then Elita spoke. "Same, well besides the single mother part and the working two jobs part." The girl turned a bit red and Ella could only guess that it was due to the fact that she was married to Ryland and may be feeling a bit awkward right now. "I'm the Divination professor at Hogwarts right now, but I'm in the process of becoming a Magizoologist because Divination is a piece of shit." Ella let out a laugh as she agreed with her sister. "Ryland is, well Ryland." She saw Elita smile and knew that she was portraying the fact that he was doing just fine as they all seemed to be doing.

Once her sister had stopped talking, Ella turned to Lucy. "How have you been?"
